ETACS system detects using RESISTANCE value on all the electronics ..
so when u click LEFT signal .. it actually sends a resistance value to back to the etacs .. (left n right different value) ..
so by reading the value .. the ETACS know what to switch on.. wat to switch off..
this method of wiring reduce the total numbers of wires .. as copper aint cheap ..
they name it CANBUS system. its like all wired parallel .. but different resistance value send different voltage to the ETACS .. thus ETACS knows what to do on each different value..
by changing the rear lights @ brake lights ... yup its light only .. but our Cruise control use the brake switch which immediately link to the rear brake lights will have the resistance value disturbance when u switch to a different LED ..
u need to pair with a resistor to make it same value like the original .. else ur cruise control will failed to work ..
fail safe feature by ETACS .. it thinks that ur brake is not working thus it doesnt allow the cruise to be on ..
