Morning after pills (ECP) is only good up to 3 days. Some say 5 days but instructions will put 3 days, to be safe.

Do a pregnancy test to find out if you are really pregnant or not. You can't be sure until you do a test. Late period sometimes may just mean you are stressed up. Also take note of early pregnancy symptoms - morning sickness, growing breasts, etc. These symptoms can start as early as 2-3 weeks after intercourse.

Google up "Women on Web" if you really need to. If you're pregnant, it's still very early in the pregnancy and there are a few choices. PM me if you want to ask anything or just want someone to listen.

p.s. I'm not here to start a pro-choice/pro-life debate.

If only people are more aware of other methods of contraceptives, the reproduction system, hormones, their own body changes and the options that are available... there's always a way.

I myself hate using condoms. icon_rolleyes.gif

I blame the parents for not properly providing sexual education to their children. wink.gif

It's not the only contraceptive method. So why should I love it when I don't like using it? doh.gif

Please enlighten me on the contraceptive alternatives besides the pill that makes me 'fat' (I do get 'fat' from hormone pills), IUD that they stuff inside me, the condom that I hate and the pancut luar that he might miss. Also, the calculation of doing only on the non fertile week is not workable as we are on it almost everyday

You've already listed out most of the common contraceptive methods. There's also spermicide, diaphragms, hormonal implants and more.. here: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=41447842
But most of the contraceptive methods are hormone base, so if you get fat from the hormones, then too bad I guess, since most women don't really have much side effects from BCP. Try other brands of BCP perhaps?

I've not tried IUD since I'm contented with the withdrawal method. If you have done IUD, how is it? I thought we don't even have to bother about it for several years and don't really feel much from it, other than some slight menstrual cycle disturbance. Would like to hear some experiences from it.

Having sex comes with responsibilities. Choose the contraceptive method that we are comfortable with, each of them have its good and bad. For more permanent measures, we can go with ligation/vasectomy or we can always stay-away-from-sex-forever. wink.gif

It's been 3 weeks, Postinor won't do crap if you had already ovulated your ovum has been fertilized and implantation has occured (around a week after fertilization).

First you need to get a pregnancy test kit.

If positive, you need to get this pill: RU486 (which is illegal and basically hard to find in this country, there are a few ways to get it online though)

unsafe sex a week before period or a week after period is okayyyy...
doctor told me geh icon_rolleyes.gif

A week after period isn't exactly okay.
Say your period last 5 days, a week after the 5th day means day 12. Fertile period usually starts from day 12-14.

So best bet is still before period and after fertile period. If menstrual cycle not stable and you don't know when you are ovulating, then just wear condom each time.

Sperm supposedly can live up to a week in a woman's womb. Like munkeyflo said it's probably safest before, or during period or after fertile period.

Wanna go commando always, best take contraceptives...

It seems science say sperm lifespan in the womb is 3 days. The egg lifespan is only 1 day. biggrin.gif
