to add somebody in your friend list, go to "Show Island" mode then click on the other city, click on 'Diplomacy' and then you can choose to add friend from the drop down button there!

hmm quite a lot of guides actually. even I myself who is a previous player is still learning the new ways lol

basically, what I can advise is many players lose patience with this game very easily in the beginning. the magic always starts after you've put in some time and effort. that's when the game starts to be really addictive. conclusion: start slow and peaceful, when you're bigger things will start to get 'exciting' lol

Now research cost money. So starting will be quite slow.

Starting in crystal island really not the best but still can cope it.

Which better for my first island jump wine or marble?

starting on sulphur island is actually quite bad too lol. I don't know why our LYN region seems to be so peaceful. I actually have another account in Ypsilon (play 2 account hahaha) and that city always, ALWAYS gets attacked. People there are so aggressive @@ so guys my advice would be to build up a respectable army of hoplites and swordmen. and remember, BUILD ANYTHING BUT BALLISTA SHIPS.

in the event that any of you LYN members get attacked, here is the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

1. send message, asking for no conflict and informing the attacker that you are not inactive. this usually stops any further hostile activities.
2. if the attacker disregards your plea for peace, inform the alliance. LYN will start preparing for war.

ps* personally i think marble would be most important

That what i thought then suddenly I remember that to build second palace to expand need marble. So marble is the better choice than wine. So wine will be my third city.
My IGN should be the same with my nick.

Luckily our region less war. So small fish like us can grow to big fish in the calm water.

But yeah starting either crystal or sulphur island is quite hard.

well when you start to grow bigger, other players will look to eat you to satisfy their hunger. So it's always handy to have soldiers who'll protect your town. My other account just survived another attack, and it's ALREADY under another attack as we speak =.=

in the event in which your town is under attack, besides fighting back you can:

- quickly ship away all your unprotected resources (you can check the amount in your warehouse), you can ship them to your other towns, or you can just ship them to other stronger LYN cities, in which they will look after it and return it later.

- donate all unprotected wood to your local island sawmill.

- put up your resources for sale at the trading post at a high price (though only a limited number)

- what else? BUILD AN ARMADA OF SHIPS WITH ALL YOUR WOOD



when your attacker realizes that there is no food for him in your city, most of the time he'll just find another target. if not, LYN will eat him

i noticed a lot of you don't have warships stationed at home. very dangerous like that. better have some ram ships that can protect your city from invaders outside your island, so if they wanna pillage you, they need to go thru a very lengthy sea battle first, giving you sufficient time to come up with some counter-attacking plan, even if it's just to notify us

kk, how many ram/ballista ship is enuf?
oh and another thing i wanna know, lets say i have troops for land only, how to attack the towns that's not on my island?

Down sizing my army for gold. But my storage is not that much to pillage to begin with all resource under safe categories.

btw just to inform you guys, up until now I'm still in the dark about accepting applications. I have not received any applications so far lol probably because our LYN Diplomat oversees that responsibility. Maybe aerir made a mistake. try applying again through him okay

infrasonic applied for our alliance a few days ago and i didn't see anything. he got accepted yesterday so I'm pretty sure it's either the Home Minister djhenry91 or Diplomat aerir who accepted you guys

don't build ballista. I read about them in the forums and everybody is saying ballista is really horrible. so just build ram ships until you can build some other ships. well any amount is acceptable, as long as you have at least 1 to turn away unsuspecting fleets.

when you have a bigger city you'll need that army hahahaha

but don't worry because other Malaysians will protect you lol

what about the alliance application option? what is that for?

So going for my third city. Right now I have crystal and marble city. So which is better? Wine City to boost villagers or sulphur so that I can develop lvl 4 palace to make 4th city.

Im thinking going the wine path because our region quite peaceful for now. Is it a good choice?

Marble! Good for building upgrades.
Or like me, best for generating gold. Sold those around 15 golds and people buy it.

i think more people like crystal leh..i sell 17 also got ppl wan buy last time xD
