“Not all lady bosses are like this. But because of a drop of blue dye,a whole pot of milk is contaminated. To be a good lady boss, these are a few tips that can help you!” read the caption.


The eight tips are as follows:

    'Relax' and stay calm in all situations whether normal or tense.

    Hold frequent discussions with subordinates especially male employees.*

    Do not show ego and power in front of subordinates especially while giving instructions.

    Do not be too stern and fierce.

    Appeasing your subordinates.*

    Create calm and cheerful situation while giving instructions to subordinates.

    Give power to subordinates in performing their duties.

    Do not over-control subordinates to the point of irritating them.

At the time of writing, the file on the information department’s website has been “shared” 114 times and drew 24 comments, most of it claiming that the guidelines were discriminatory.

Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin also weighed in on the subject on Twitter, urging the information department to remove the file.

“Sexist and unfair, aimed only at women,” he wrote.

This controversial document comes hot the heels of another controversy surrounding a manual for teachers to spot early signs of homosexuality.

The manual was condemned for encouraging discrimination and was reported by several international news organisations.

Relax and calm: Seriously? Women are anti-relax and calm.

Do not show ego: Women always love to think they have no ego, and only men have ego. With such mentality, how can they become leaders? In fact, women don't realize that they have bigger egos than men.

Frequent discussions with subordinates, especially male employees: They do this too much, and they behave as though men can't handle female bosses.

Do not be stern and fierce: They can't. They are always insecure with other female employees even though they appear to be so nice-nice with them, but always behave as though all male employees are all planning to rape her.

Appeasing your subordinates: This one, Malaysian management problem. Most Malaysian bosses don't like to address the issues, they just want to avoid the issues, therefore, tell the employees to suck it.

Calm and cheerful: Not Malaysian culture, unless you are in marketing or sales department. Malaysian bosses generally do not like calm and cheerful environment, they prefer rigid, boring and workhorse style because its the only way they know how to achieve their KPIs.

Power to subordinates: Again, this is anti-Malaysian management culture. Decisions come from the boss, but expect employees to execute, without taking in any feedback from the employees. If decision work, confirm boss hebat. If decision fail, employee bodoh!

Do not over-control subordinates: It is normal for all woman to interfere in everything. Women generally love to micro-manage, plus, many guys too have this tendencies, but they just seem like the bapok and bodoh types.

I had a female manager - I quited the company.

Moral of the story, NO WAY I CAN WORK FOR A FEMALE BOSS/MANAGERS/ETC ..

No way anyone can work for a female boss / managers unless u she is not directly above you and going around commanding you. If you do , get ready for the company to go down.

Its not rigid problems, Unlike guys who are more on solving problems girls are towards pointing fingers and b****ing about it to everyone .

In my current company - when there is a problem, my bosses boss call my boss up and discussed the problem, later was forwarded to me and we brain storm who to settle the problem.

And being in engineering field strong technical qualities is important

Where else in my previous company , my acting GM ( who got in for few weeks ) replacing my retired gm - not only she is not from engineering background but got thru the interview by crapping my boss telling him she is familiar with the construction industry etc.

Then she will go on giving pressure on everyone send tonnes of emails asking how how how ? Why why why ? Can you pls settle this asap ? .

Worst when comes to claim, Before her my claim will be done in 1 day. My GM wont bother about the claims, as long as my performance is good. But this b**** - will take 2 - 3 weeks . So ppl like me who spend about 2 - 3 k a week its quite hard to maintain the money flow when the claims take so f***ing long.

She insist on report when she knows shit about the industry / clients . Her focuses are always so far off ... So sent my immediate resignation and I left together with other engineers in the company. For 5 months the company run at losses with her as the boss and she eventually tender her resignation letter.

I'm not sure if your grievances are because of who she is as a person, or because of her gender. Or if her problems are because of her gender. Do you see now how demeaning and generalizing those guidelines can be?

Wimminz are very good manager and organizer, but too emotional to be allowed to make critical decision. They are more suited for supportive role rather then leadership role.
