QUOTE(cicadasx @ Sep 28 2012, 04:54 PM) Hi everyone, recently my pc cant seems to detect my SIII. A message saying hardware ID missing pops out. I noticed this happen after I updated my Kies. Didnt really know whether this is related because I remember there was no problem before this. Only until after I updated Kies. It happened to me as well. Just after upgraded the Kies.Try googling around but none of the answer works for me. Anyone who had similar problem before and wants to share their solution U can try the following, it work for me. 1. Uncheck the usb debugging. 2. connect ur phone to pc. 3. Once connected, ignore the error mssg, pull down the notification bar, select connect as camera(PTP). ur PC should detect ur phone, then switch back to Medis Device (MPT). 4. (if still can't detect) Go to Device Manager in the PC, find the error device upgrade the driver online. *some friends solved it, just changed the usb cable and try diff. usb port. I just found this..it may help http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...=1844400&page=2 This post has been edited by eekhai: Sep 28 2012, 05:59 PM |

QUOTE(alexlimco @ Oct 2 2012, 12:28 PM) I wonder why a lot of people roots their phones with custom ROM for longer battery life when even stock ROM can provide very good battery life. Bloatwares is the main issues that why i root. Those useless bloatwares are eating up my battery + ram.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
