1st question is yes , u can restore using TB . Some of my apps are from froyo days but of course it got updated along the way . However , RESTORE ONLY APPS + DATA , not system data .

2nd question , tried it before on SGS2 . Didnt work . Stop trying so I'm not sure if it works or not but it should work as long as its the same device .

u need to redo your IP ...... MAXIS and UNIFI blocked alot of file sharing website . I cant remember exactly but u can google by typing " how to dl from megaupload from malaysia " . Procedures is the same

Cant blame Apple actually . Initially , Iphones are only for Telcos until recently u can buy it off right from Apple Store without any plans from telco . Telcos in certain countries like US and UK , well , they dont want u to use their phones on other network beside theirs , therefore the lock . If u need a suggestion on how to unlock your sim so u can use here in msia , PM me . But i do agree , Android is so easy to unlock compared to iphones

Not actually . U can write in to your TELCO in UK if your contract is over or almost over . Just inform them u r giving your iph4s away and u would like it unlocked . They will update u and u can later on unlock it via itunes . I dunno about UK but I manage to get a few AT&T iphones unlocked that way for free

yup ...... a fresh reflash yet cant receive any msg from whatsapp or wechat unless i open the application to check . Even my clock widget stopped after 2-3 mins
