Can i ask a couple of questions that has been bugging me?
If i use titanium backup to backup my apps when i am on ics, when upgrade to jb (whenever samsung releases it), can i still restore? Wont the installation be a little bit different due to upgrade from ics to jb? Unless the backbone is so minor that it makes no difference?
Also, if i use recovery to do a nandroid backup, is it specific to only my s3 when i choose to restore? Will it work if i do it on another s3? Something like ghosting to another device? I.e. (i hope i dont get into this quandary) if i need to replce my s3 with another s3, will i get an exact clone or will restore fail because its a different device?
1st question is yes , u can restore using TB . Some of my apps are from froyo days but of course it got updated along the way . However , RESTORE ONLY APPS + DATA , not system data . 2nd question , tried it before on SGS2 . Didnt work . Stop trying so I'm not sure if it works or not but it should work as long as its the same device .
