I got back my s3 from service centre yesterday after changing the board. But now it has a new issue! Whenever i unlock the screen there will be some kind of flicker, like the one you will see when the screen not enough power or connection loose. I'm thinking of going to service centre again and requesting for a brand new set! Is it possible?

QUOTE(vostro78 @ Sep 21 2012, 04:45 PM) whats the problem with your unit ? there's some kind of flicker/flash on the display whenever i unlock the phone.. This started after replacing the board. Tried asking for 1-1 replacement but they said cannot.. hahaby the way, sms ewarranty checking for the samsung phone seems no longer working, any method we can use it to check if we want to buy 2nd hand phone? |

QUOTE(FallenOut @ Sep 25 2012, 06:41 PM) actually has anyone ever got a 1-1 replacement from samsung?tmr will hav stocks already they cant for spare parts they can easily request for new bt for 1 to 1 for phone they cant QUOTE(rickk @ Sep 25 2012, 06:43 PM) Actually depends on the consultant that day one la. Like me, last time my BB keypad cannot function, went to celcom center (I signed celcom plan), they 1-1 exchange. planning to be garang la.. haha! And my maxis line, I was terminated the line but they still bill me, I went to Pyramid branch, the ret*rded consultant said they can't do anything, must pay full amount (400+!!). Lukcily I didn't pay and go to Klang branch, this time is a pretty lady serve me, and I explain the same thing like what I told to pyramid one, and the pretty lady immediately help me to appeal for waive the amount. ends up I just need to pay 1month (RM50). What I'm trying to say is, malaysia customer service line most are same one, have to depends on ur luck, see whether can meet a REAL CS or those malas malas nowan work one. and one more thing, be GARANG, this could help u in advance, but of course if pretty lady no nid so garang la.. So get this.. I sent my phone to pj sc yesterday regarding my problem and i got a call today saying that they've changed a new screen for me BUT flashed an older version of the software for me. The bugs in the latest software is what makes the screen flicker according to them so they told me NOT to update the software. This is just plain dumbness coz i've used the phone running on the latest update fine and that was before i sent the phone there for the first time.
