Hi good morning all,

I copy videos recorded by iPhone to S3 but it won't play (not compatible) in S3.
Then I transfer the videos using Kies, it said it need to convert the video files, I proceed, and it works fine.
Source video: AVC (Baseline@L3.1)
Converted video: MPEG-4 Visual (Simple@L1)
I thought S3 could play AVC, H.264 video without problem? hmm.gif
So in future, I should convert to MPEG-4 (H.263) for whatever video files I want to copy onto S3?

Thank you in advance! notworthy.gif

Hi all,

Can someone tell me what that icon at the upper left corner in Video Player does?
I can't find it mentioned in the user manual. icon_question.gif
Every time I tap on it, the video just stop playing. hmm.gif

I see this SGP Neo Hybrid case is quite nice, but when I did a search at Garage Sales section, I can see there are those selling at RM1xx.00 while there is also some selling at RM53.00? Why so much different? hmm.gif

But..whatever la coz i aso hates use casing. Doesn't matter fake or genuine one. Still dislike both  laugh.gif  laugh.gif

Actually I also like to use a phone naked, but the back cover will be full of scratches when we put down our phone on the table, unless I can find a soft surface to put anytime, anywhere. Also inconvenient with naked phone are, when we need to put the phone in our bag or something like that... smile.gif That's why I am looking for a thin and low profile case. biggrin.gif

same with you
the back cover also got scratch, when free go lowyat service center claim warranty to exchange the battery cover whistling.gif

Can claim? Let's we go together! tongue.gif

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 24 2012, 12:22 AM)
Better buy a soft pouch then. biggrin.gif
After full of scratches then only use casing la. Dont hide your shinny new phone inside a casing.
*
Very true and agreed with this! thumbup.gif
By the way, the reason I like the Neo Hybrid is because this design does not make the side volume and power button difficult to press. Other case make the buttons "too inside" and hard to press.

Cases in Malaysia always a bit different, consumers in Malaysia are so -> shakehead.gif
Like waveweaver said in post #624.

QUOTE(cyberskull @ Sep 24 2012, 12:50 AM)
instead of casing alone.. just bought ones with the external battery.. quite useful.. protection & longer battery live..

Can you recommend some casing with battery built in? notworthy.gif

A message just pop-up on my phone asking whether to Update Samsung Account...
I proceeded, out of curiousity about this update, I Googled it and found the following:

CODE
I called Samsung UK a few mintes ago having just had my second account update prompt and they iti s done cos they have server problems so its not your phone and its nt jelly bean either- its a problem entirely local to samsungs own inhouse tech.

Link

Maybe this have something to do with your login failure? hmm.gif

well i'm not dissing people who are satisfied with their iphone. Everyone has the right to their choices.

Even i think the Samsung anti iphone ads go too far in making iphone users look like idiots.

But as for me, i need to get my uncles UK Iphone4s to work for Malaysia sim card. And the process hasn't been as nice compared to what i am use to with android, hence my review as to what i see as a ball of chain, compared to a more open android environment  sweat.gif
anyway from what i understand, the S3 has a counter that can check if you modded your phone. But we got an app called triangle away, so no biggie.

But what do we have for the IOS iphone that can prevent apple from detecting you modded your phone, and lock you down ?

Maybe i need to do more research on this, but as far as i am aware, it doesn't seem pretty if you do the wrong step and the iphone detects you jailbreaked your phone  hmm.gif  correct me if i am wrong.
*
+1
I'm a 3GS -> 4 user, and can't tolerate anymore so just migrate to S3, no regret! thumbup.gif
Now transferring music, photos or any files to the phone just so easy! rclxms.gif

Windows 7 support exFAT natively right? hmm.gif
If you're in Windows XP, I think you need to install the KB955704 driver update package.
