well, some people, like me, just need one simple reason for choosing an Android over an iOS phone. What i see is, the preloaded features the phone has in it.
And i believed S3 has a lot more to offer than iPhone 5, without rooting/jailbreaking. And yes i'm not wrong. I own one and i'm very happy with it. My bad experience with my first ever smartphone, HTC Aria has gone. I used a 3GS before too. I know how both Android and iOS phone work, though it's not much.
And when it comes to choosing which Android phone, then it has to go to "what I NEED".

well i'm not dissing people who are satisfied with their iphone. Everyone has the right to their choices.
Even i think the Samsung anti iphone ads go too far in making iphone users look like idiots.
But as for me, i need to get my uncles UK Iphone4s to work for Malaysia sim card. And the process hasn't been as nice compared to what i am use to with android, hence my review as to what i see as a ball of chain, compared to a more open android environment

anyway from what i understand, the S3 has a counter that can check if you modded your phone. But we got an app called triangle away, so no biggie.
But what do we have for the IOS iphone that can prevent apple from detecting you modded your phone, and lock you down ?
Maybe i need to do more research on this, but as far as i am aware, it doesn't seem pretty if you do the wrong step and the iphone detects you jailbreaked your phone

correct me if i am wrong.
The penalty of jailbreaking your iphone

The number of apps saying, "This Application Does Not Support Jailbroken Devices" is on the rise. You're just browsing the app store, downloading apps from iTunes and only after you've downloaded the app, you receive this message. Skype does this.
The most recent app being Swamp People, by A&E Television Network. I'm just going to be blunt: I strongly disagree, that developers should be doing that. It's our iPhone and we can do whatever we want with them. You don't get error messages on Windows saying "We do not support computers with dual booted systems or we do not support your modded PC."
I think it's a very dumb decision for developers to make, because the majority of people who use iPhones have them Jailbroken, so that's them losing money and popularity (for the sake of?)
I mean, I probably would have deleted the app after 5 minutes, but now it doesn't even get a chance. I give great reviews. Not only that, but why would they go through the effort? It's Jailbroken, which means that whatever method they're using to detect Jailbroken iPhones can be masked if need be, and if not, there are other ways to get the app.
So, either way it works against them. I just hope that this doesn't catch on. Yes, the incentives for having a Jailbroken iPhone is so great, that it means more to me than your insignificant app.
Again, apps that lock you out because you're Jailbroken, that is very, very stupid. There's no way the app developer could possibly understand the concept of Jailbreaking and what it means for them.
Do you agree or disagree?
Even googleplay doesn't penalize you for rooting your device

This article further explains the harsh anti jailbreak stance of Apple in slapping users on the wrist if they jb their devices
