check the first page of this topic. ts got state what to do before buying the phone. also check for scratches.
1) check for matching IMEI (dial *#06#) with phone and box.

2) check all contents are available in box

3) check for dead pixels. use samsung function test by typing this code *#0*# into the dialer. go through all the test and make sure everything is working

4) check for any hardware defects by pressing the phone at several spots for squeaking or weird noises.

5) check for yellow tint, open up a white picture and check the screen for yellow-ish

Any problem to update rom for my i9300t using i9300  rom

Running 4.1.1 JB stock Poland

I killed the apps that i suspected made my phone drain battery when idle.

But still, i'm getting 10% battery drain from 12hours of idle..

I used to only get about 2-3% of battery drain after 12hours of idle on 4.0.4 stock.

i found that maps WAS the main cause for the partial wakelocks. I tweaked the settings for maps and it stopped showing up in partial wakelocks.
(tweaking the settings for maps really did eliminate the wakelocks that can be seen in the battery graph)
But i'm still getting battery drain when idle.. the top attribute for partial wakelocks in BBS is "audio_out".
I'm gonna try turning off all of the keypad sounds / unlock sounds in the settings and see how it goes tonight

You use custom rom..?
In that case better ask at that custom rom thread for quick fix.
If on stock rom..try the steps that i give above. If still fail then it's time to sent reports to its dev

I think audio out comes from all those talk here talk there features/apps. Freeze those talk talk apps can reduce wakelocks BUT it will reduce the phone features also

Bought it, Camera ZOOM FX as a camera is really bad replacement for the stock S III Camera as far as pure Camera performance/features is concerned; however once you download the free addons, it is a really FUN photo app - add in famous buddies (e.g. Simon Cowell with a thumbs down), vintage polaroid etc...

Some are badly written that way (even if they don't need push notifications  etc) or just plain 'evil' app permissions. I think nowadays that is the only reason to have a task killer focus on that app; or freeze it I guess. I normally just uninstall those apps.

Broken Sword: 533mb file size to be downloaded(that's alot) but the graphic is nice, clean, and detailed.This game has alot of good reviews in PlayStore,I only played 5 minute of the game only,its detective type of game, and its attractive.story type game.

Ski Safari: an addictive game, trust me , its so fun where u can back flip and the animations are nice, not like those cheap and ugly 3d, if u look closely on the animals, yea u can say its ugly abit, but when u begin to play the game,when its on the move, it fits perfectly, so addictive, alot of objectives(which i like) and can buy few costumes( the best part is got ninja suit ) must buy game.

Where's My Perry: i like this game just because its has perry in it.other than that,its exactly the same as Where's my water, really 25cents worth of game, get now or gonna waste money on 99cents.im saying this because, Where's My Water oso 99cents, so its better to get one game at 25cents and 99cents instead of two games when each of them costs 99cents each.not worth it.

for me its quite ok, it has same effects like stock but more, u can edit cropping (typical photo type apps ) but before u take photos got alot of options..to me i feel stock better. havent really check this app properly.im not dare to comment on it yet. worth or not worth it? i dun know, its 25cents! so just get it, if u wan to try. rm0.80 ..

Hi i'm new here.. just gotten my S3 from a forumer this morning.. he claimed that he used the phone 1 week only so i bought it from him..

Just wanna ask.. is the s3 using official JB rom now? cause after reset the phone.. its android 4.1.1

But like got a lot of bugs.. such as the camera view finder is black if i use the lockscreen touch and rotate to turn on the camera.. and i can't find S Voice anywhere.. even double tapping the home button brings no luck...
