Haiz...hahaha but now its 1.6.3 v1.6.2 -> v1.6.3: change packet filter settings to block multicast (thanks to Entropy512). fixed mali UMP mistakes which might be causing problems on Samsung ROMs. Reverted mali cpu lock levels to stock. not a big change so im skippin it |

QUOTE(rickk @ Sep 30 2012, 01:44 PM) owh alright, I think I get what u mean. haha! Yes it is okay.so if siyah + stock JB is it ok? ok, from what I saw, most of the LYNer here using siyah am I right? =) Siyah seems okay but lately too much lag (suspected with the GPU tweak). If you want, you can try Perseus. I tested it looks pretty stable. QUOTE(AsTiGaTe @ Sep 30 2012, 02:25 PM) check the first page of this topic. ts got state what to do before buying the phone. also check for scratches. Nice info. Thanks for sharing buddy!1) check for matching IMEI (dial *#06#) with phone and box. 2) check all contents are available in box 3) check for dead pixels. use samsung function test by typing this code *#0*# into the dialer. go through all the test and make sure everything is working 4) check for any hardware defects by pressing the phone at several spots for squeaking or weird noises. 5) check for yellow tint, open up a white picture and check the screen for yellow-ish ts's |

QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Sep 30 2012, 02:52 PM) Running 4.1.1 JB stock Poland Hmm..some apps even though you already kill them, they will turn on itself again after sometime.I killed the apps that i suspected made my phone drain battery when idle. But still, i'm getting 10% battery drain from 12hours of idle.. I used to only get about 2-3% of battery drain after 12hours of idle on 4.0.4 stock. Hmmm |

QUOTE(YouDontKnowMyName @ Sep 30 2012, 02:58 PM) i found that maps WAS the main cause for the partial wakelocks. I tweaked the settings for maps and it stopped showing up in partial wakelocks. For me yeah audio out is also very common. Not sure what contributed to it though.(tweaking the settings for maps really did eliminate the wakelocks that can be seen in the battery graph) But i'm still getting battery drain when idle.. the top attribute for partial wakelocks in BBS is "audio_out". I'm gonna try turning off all of the keypad sounds / unlock sounds in the settings and see how it goes tonight |

QUOTE(waveweaver @ Sep 30 2012, 03:29 PM) You use custom rom..? Haha true true. Mana tahu kena FC pulak...In that case better ask at that custom rom thread for quick fix. If on stock rom..try the steps that i give above. If still fail then it's time to sent reports to its dev Added on September 30, 2012, 3:33 pm I think audio out comes from all those talk here talk there features/apps. Freeze those talk talk apps can reduce wakelocks BUT it will reduce the phone features also QUOTE(tigerporc @ Sep 30 2012, 04:04 PM) Bought it, Camera ZOOM FX as a camera is really bad replacement for the stock S III Camera as far as pure Camera performance/features is concerned; however once you download the free addons, it is a really FUN photo app - add in famous buddies (e.g. Simon Cowell with a thumbs down), vintage polaroid etc... That's why just use TB to either uninstall unwanted apps or freeze them.Added on September 30, 2012, 4:07 pm Some are badly written that way (even if they don't need push notifications etc) or just plain 'evil' app permissions. I think nowadays that is the only reason to have a task killer focus on that app; or freeze it I guess. I normally just uninstall those apps. The rest, can't do much |

QUOTE(AsTiGaTe @ Sep 30 2012, 09:18 PM) today bought some 25 cents apps Today punya not interesting lo. Camera zoom good? 1.broken sword 2.ski safari 3.camera zoom fx 4.where's my perry .. Broken Sword: 533mb file size to be downloaded(that's alot) but the graphic is nice, clean, and detailed. This game has alot of good reviews in PlayStore,I only played 5 minute of the game only, its detective type of game, and its attractive.story type game. Ski Safari: an addictive game, trust me , its so fun where u can back flip and the animations are nice, not like those cheap and ugly 3d, if u look closely on the animals, yea u can say its ugly abit, but when u begin to play the game, when its on the move, it fits perfectly, so addictive, alot of objectives(which i like) and can buy few costumes( the best part is got ninja suit Where's My Perry: i like this game just because its has perry in it.other than that, its exactly the same as Where's my water, really 25cents worth of game, get now or gonna waste money on 99cents.im saying this because, Where's My Water oso 99cents, so its better to get one game at 25cents and 99cents instead of two games when each of them costs 99cents each.not worth it. Only bought Perry today. |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Sep 30 2012, 09:33 PM) That's why I came back to Android after 8 months with Apple. However, I wouldn't say Apple is bad. Consider something like less choice in terms of modifications. One thing don't need to worry about Apple is the chance of sleep death is so darn slim lol. QUOTE(AsTiGaTe @ Sep 30 2012, 11:36 PM) for me its quite ok, it has same effects like stock but more, u can edit cropping (typical photo type apps ) but before u take photos got alot of options..to me i feel stock better. havent really check this app properly.im not dare to comment on it yet. worth or not worth it? i dun know, its 25cents! so just get it, if u wan to try. rm0.80 .. Haha I actually bought it. Well first impression, shutter and photo taking is slower than stock. However, yes like what you said, more choices. Will need more experience after this first. Thanks bro. p/s its my first time writing a medium long review, its it good , do pm me and say its good, and if its bad, do pm me and tell whats wrong. QUOTE(GrandElf @ Sep 30 2012, 11:56 PM) Hey! Added on October 1, 2012, 12:47 am QUOTE(yzlum @ Oct 1 2012, 12:45 AM) Hi i'm new here.. just gotten my S3 from a forumer this morning.. he claimed that he used the phone 1 week only so i bought it from him.. Welcome. Just wanna ask.. is the s3 using official JB rom now? cause after reset the phone.. its android 4.1.1 But like got a lot of bugs.. such as the camera view finder is black if i use the lockscreen touch and rotate to turn on the camera.. and i can't find S Voice anywhere.. even double tapping the home button brings no luck... I think the forumer customize the phone. Do a full reset and flash back stock or any custom rom and test it out. Guide on my siggy and on Page one. Good luck and pm me if you need help.
