Yes. It will not visible. Same as mine. What i did was installed an app called "Link2SD". By using this tool, i can locate the invisible app. It is just frozen. So select action & Unfreeze. The app icon will appear back even you disconnect from VPN. This always happen if you did not connect to VPN and Google Account is sync to Google.

mine is batch C90 as well but during purchase, i inspected N7 for any screen lifting issue but found none...

does it happen to the whole batch or just some N7 within the batch?

or did i miss something during inspection?

btw those ppl who bought from the shop in ss15 or directd store did you ppl ask about the warranty? when i asked the sales person told me no need to fill the warranty book just bring N7 to ASUS if any prob...there is only a sticker there...

Guys, are you comfortable with nexus 7 phone or tablet UI?
As a galaxy nexus user, I find nexus 7 has very similar interface compared to my phone. Sometimes I think nexus 7 is more like 7inch version of galaxy nexus.

I've been reading the first page about the tablet UI, the patch method and the DPI method seems to be a better choice in my case. ( going to try stock ROM for several weeks before going custom )

Tried using apex launcher, result are not that impressive. The notification bar stays on top and unlike galaxy tab series where it combines to bottom menu bar. I know custom ROMs have function embedded so is there other better way that I'm not aware ?

not sure what you mean by location settings... if you mean the usd25 google play credit, just follow the steps mentioned in earlier posts. it should work regardless of where the unit is from, as long as you do it before the deadline -- fyi, that offer expires sometime end of this month.

#1. can someone in US buy 1 unit, register and get usd25, return the unit (7 days money guarantee or maybe RMA), then get another unit, sign up and get another usd25?

#2. or does it work by google account -- meaning 1 account entitled to only 1 time usd25 regardless of how many N7 you own

#3. does it also mean that 1 N7 can be used to get many rounds of usd25 if you factory wipe and add a different google account?

Dont have Malaysia offline save mode. So cannot use. I've just tried download offline for Singapore map and tried there. But the problem is , you must save each road that u want to go. But it came with one limitation. It wont work without internet even for GPS. After connect with internet (with wireless), then only GPS work and show in the map.
