I vote for sustain if its shimano and Caldia for Daiwa

No idea, i am guessing about the same range of 7xx.
Only reason i voted Sustain is because of the solid built and feel. Not the smothest but its a good working horse.
For weight and smoothness, rarenium CI4+ wins hands down.
Not a big fan of the Daiwa ballistic, Zaion is still some sort of plastic. Dont know in long run usage if the rotor will wobble from wearing.

Cast,.... rip rip rip... stop.. let it sink (count to 3 or 5 depending on your sinker weight) i am using 3 gram (5 secs count) sinker or 5g (3sec) sinker.
Rip RIp,.. stop (count down),. rip rip rip.... stop and count. Rip you line and rod hard.

Cast along the shore (left and right) not too far out in the open, if far out,.. you need to count longer and let it sink all the way to the bottom.

Sudden depth is good for pb, thats where all the big ones lurk, thats why u need to cast along the shore just where the depth drop. Lure them up and bite.

no dude, i dont make lures. Only tie my own bulu for peacock hunting. I sell lures from my own import.

I know can do both,.. but jigging require more coral and structures under water.
if its a sand bed then bottom only, jigging is a waste of energy.
Thats why jigging kaki cannot go with bottom kakis.
