Boat will be definitely good.

Head towards the Orang Utan Island. The island will be directly opposite the resort/theme park.

Towards the right (masuk dalam lagi) will be weeds and alot of kayu mati. That zone have toman but not alot, but more towards sebarau and arowana

TOward the left of the island, less kayu mati and weeds. This would be toman zone.

Ultimately, around the Orang Utan Island have quite alot of tomans....

Sight casting would be good. Morning try on topwater(dawg or pops)

FYI, so called Orang Utan Island is not so much of an island. It's just a exposed tanjung which looked like an island.

Tg Tuan at PD

Both are good.

If you want lightweight, go for premier.

If you want robust and multi functional(eg: light jigging or sailfish) go for stx

Both having 20lb drag.

Price wise around RM1,200

Jigging with him a few times.

Tried light jigging at Tg Tuan on the way back before too. Tried mid jigging of 120~180g.... recently went for hunting with him at 4 different shipwreck, using 250~300g.

Fully fiberglass and stabile boat(boat maker himself) powered by 2x 250hp. damn kau fast.

My side would be kinda extreme jigging with minor bottom. Worried that many of the anglers may have blistering ketiak!! LOL

I reckon, focus on bottom and those who wanted to do jigging, can just bring extra sets.

Much better material from those tackle store, leather, and having the knuckle protector.

The normal thin gloves is already at RM55 at Kepong tackle. Can consider this better glove. I bought one myself
