well, not exactly in pieces but this will teach me not to buy without checking out the condition of the reel.

bought this 2nd hand off some dude in facebook.

If the price is too good to be true, it's probably is.

the reel felt like a grinder.

took apart the reel to find the source. manage to narrow down the culprit, which was the pinion brake bearing. wasn't too costly to replace.

basically did a full service on the reel. upgraded the bearing count as well. now the reel feels just like new. biggrin.gif

There is one bearing hidden at the main shaft too(where it contains the main gear, drags and gear for line guide.)

Some brands it was plastic shims....

There is only 1 bearing spot that I wasn't able to upgrade, the worm drive shaft bearing.
