samsung is  overprice
asus infinity for me, expensive but came with docking.
but for all android device, software support not great except if its a google branded device.

ipad is good but limited some of the functions i want.
like output to HDTV and watch HD movies from microSD/External HDD.

so just buy any device that suit u need.

if you have apple tv and airplay... you will think output to HDTV is a joke...

ipad have the healthiest ecosystem... although nexus 7 gonna launch in malaysia 2 days later... but i would not recommend it...

the apps you use in android, and compare to apps you used in ipad... see the experience , usability, stability, feel the differences yourself...

the apps in google play i use hardly any....

i know ipad can use airplay with apple tv but to buy apple tv just because i want to use airplay is not worth it.
another way i can use is by 30pin adapter to HDMI port.

but still, ipad cant read from external HDD/pendrive/microSD, in case i want to watch movies and those movies are in that storage, thats would be problem. now im looking for android tablet for this purpose tongue.gif

now im using XBMC on ipad to watch movies from my NAS and work great so far. but the ipad resolution with 16:9 HD movies kinda weird laugh.gif

overall both have their pros n cons. i m attracted to the s-pen but i m afraid it will give me alot of problems. ipad is definitely more user friendly than any other tablets. i gotta research more on this make my final decision.

thank you for your recommendations and advise guys. i appreciate it:)

This is the main issue. Some say 10.1 some iPad. I heard they improve the note 10.1 battery. But new iPad battery life cannot make it. Drains really fast. I personally have an android phone n their apps are boring.

My vote go to the new iPad ....

Work, Powerpoint = Keynote ... best app ever ...
Emails - Apple or android .. same

Who say battery is bad ? I hardcore read anime (4 hours) plus my parents PPS (5 hours) .. can last 1.5 days like that ... if average use for office and leisure check fb email etc, can last about 4 days ...

Android is just gonna lag .. and yes I have an android phone ... The ad that I don't trust is the ad for note 10.1 lol ... looks too good to be true ...  If you can afford the iPad .. then iPad is the answer ... and remember to get 64GB if you're going to watch alot of movies smile.gif

actually i also read many comments here like this so i ended up having ipad.

i was THIS CLOSE to pay for a galaxy tab 2 in spore... lol

it is not only air transfer app. there are a lot of downloader can also used the same method to transfer files.

iOS may be a simple OS but it can literally do anything.

Fork out some money to buy the Keynote app. Really worth it.

And who says iPad's battery life is bad?? As long as you take care of it everything is fine.

I'm really surprised...

No one noticed that they are comparing a phone with a tablet... Hello!!!

Jokes aside. I think if you only used it for work, I think Galaxy Note would be more suitable. The flexibility of having a file manager without restriction to send whatever files through emails, Bluetooth etc, S Pen for takings notes, not to mention also having phone function (just use Bluetooth headset), are few of the things you would notice. However, if you don't need S Pen, then it's anyone guess.

I personally prefer iPad because I won't use it for work at all. I hate having to use iTunes for almost everything I needed to transfer to the iPad. At the same time, also realized the better apps availability in Apple's AppStore and better gaming performance from PowerVR SGX GPU.

Different folk different strokes.

So far, many of my TT kakis are have both, but many ends up using iPad for their business use.
They feel more 'gaya' and confident using it in front of their customers rather than a Tab... laugh.gif
And some of them dun even know about iTunes! sweat.gif
Dunno if you realized that you actually can do without iTunes.

Pssst...they already carrying more than one/two phones so dun need another phone to manage. wink.gif

I find Ipad/ Tab 10.1 to be too big to carry around...unless necessary. So what I did was to buy an Ipad Mini and love the size. If Samsung launches a 7 inch Note Tablet ie with stylus and multi screen function, that would then be my ideal choice.
