I wanna know, is it actually illegal to remove the CAT?? Is there any sensors/actuators (i dunno how to name them) situated at the CAT?? And how does it affect ur FC? I need ur advice on tat
At this moment, in Malaysia, it is not illegal to remove the CAT.As for sensors in the CAT, it all depends on the make of the car. Some only has 1 sensor before the cat, hence removing the cat does not screw up the sensor. Some has a second sensor in the cat or after the cat, which may trigger the check engine light after the cat has been removed.
