Guys, i've got a question to ask.. My current car is Honda city sx8 with a few exhaust mod, changed the s-flow exhaust and local made bullet  sweat.gif  However, i felt that the exhaust is too loud to my liking. So, I was just wondering whether will the exhaust sound be reduced if I add another bullet to my setup? My FC is around 200km / RM 50  sweat.gif  Sometimes heavy footed and 95% town driving. Also, the power seems to kick in only from 2.5k to 5k+ rpm. Any way to widen the powerband? Kinda noob in these things  tongue.gif Thanks a lot  rclxms.gif

s-flow + bullet still too loud? Mayb ur muffler or bullet fibre oredi bakar? From my experience, don't use 2 bullets as it will effect your drivibility. Although it does damped the NV but there seems like a slight lag from stop and go and your pick-up suffers.

Mayb u can replace ur bullet with a heavily dampened muffler or replace ur muffler with a mugen twinloop (or a replica)

U can only shift ur powerband with basic mods, to extend u need to spend major $$$.

I heard from the exhaustman that the placement of the centre bullet does effect the powerband: Closer to xtractor - better pick-up, further from xtractor - better topspeed, is this true? But then this was the same exhaust man who told me 2 bullets gives more power doh.gif

No-la, I ask u to either replace ur bullet or ur muffler but don't add 2nd bullet

Added on December 8, 2011, 1:19 amCeramic coat the extractor or thermal wrap the extractor is better? And normally for  ceramic, what is the price?
*
Termal wrap cost bout RM100 to RM300 depending on the wrap brand and poreman cost, ceramic coating for the header will cost RM380 to RM800.

If can afford of course ceramic is better but make sure you go to the professional (powder coat at high tempreture)and not DIY (buy boron spraycan and DIY)

but mugen twin loop doesn't have pressure activated valve right?
*
Twin loop works on similar concept at low rev it is a normal s-flow but at high rev opens another loop for higher flow
