I'm planning the following mods on my 1.5 VDO Satria;
1) Powerzone 4-2-1 extractor <--price? (should I get a full 1.75" exhaust aswell or main stock pipes?) 2) CAI intake (maintain my stock air filter or "high flow" type?) 3) Lightened crank pulley (not undersized) Looking for improved response & torque across the rev range. Are those the right mods to achieve those goals? |

QUOTE(blueapple @ Jan 14 2009, 02:11 AM) mine also damm loud just change middle bullet straight type and muffler straight type for my manual wira...but cruising at 130kmph the sound is so unbearable. also the fuel consumption naik also but pick up 2nd gear, 3rd gear damm good. how to solve this i prefer silence and good fuel consumption...is it the sound make me press the oil a lot and feel the power of pickup..physcology thingy sien back to stock setup QUOTE(zilole9729 @ Jan 14 2009, 02:46 AM) the other day i went to a shop cuz i am facing the same problem as blueapple. he told me to fix another thing that has s-flow or smtg like that juz before the muffler i think. i own a kancil and he said its bout RM120. does this thing really work? will the result be significant enough? what was it that he was refering to? a S-flow type muffler + center bullet should keep the noise level down, or so I'm told.. that seems to be the consensus.This post has been edited by mindtricks: Jan 14 2009, 03:20 AM |
