Guys.. i think its time for me to change my piping ...
my putra is in STOCK .. and been running for 330k km ... Overhauled a year ago. I wanted to keep it STOCK as possible, but i do think there is a lot carbon deposit after such a long run.

What is the original piping size ?
and what is the recommended piping size to upgrade ??
planning to keep the muffler ori also

Not flames, "sparks". If misfiring, sure got loud sound. And the sparks came after the car slowing down to idle.

My house has a VIOS and I am keeping it standard....
It's FC is already damn good, no need to touch anymore

Bro, i'm currently driving honda city 2009. I been using the K&N drop-in air filter for my. I'm planning to change the intake system to Open pod type. What i'm afraid now is is open pod filter suitbale for auto tranny car like mine? Afraid that instead of improvement, it lose powerusing it.

Note that there is no other modification of exhaust system done on this car so far.

Hi all sifus out there, I currently got wira 1.6 auto efi, how can I mod the exhaust system to gain better pickup and save fuel?? Currently is stock system wif 4-2-1 output. My location is Johor bahru, any reputable workshop I can visit??

Is it possible that I just change the extractor and add in bullet only? I dun wanne change my muffler coz I dun wan it to be noisy and attract the authorities.

Whenever i accelerate my pedal to floor..there is extreme loud sound coming from below front left passenger side..It is extremely loud.
This is not engine noise i can confirm because the RPM are not that high..

Is this normal due to pedal to floor or some signs of exhaust leaks?
If yes,which part of it?

wanted to know tat will exhaust setting cause gear(AT) shift earlier?
bcos my gear shift weird/early at between rpm 1.5-2.2....n im stepping the pedal as usual.

these is wat done recently
Honda City 1998 1.5 AT.
replaced full exhaust system due to crack.
4-2-1 + 2 bullet + 1.6 piping +palsu mugen 2 loop (2inch).

then replace gbox seals. n move to penzoil atf from honda atf(costly)

   
   

Hi sifu2 sekalian. I'm planning to do exhaust upgrade. Got 1 question to ask though.

Is it of any use to add midbox / bullet? Because my pomen suggested cam-pro engine better add 1 mid box. Better have restriction.

4-2-1 Supercircuit header ---> Oval midbox ---> Straight flow muffler

I have a perodua axia, im suffering from poor low end torque.. Accelerating 0-40 quite troublesome sometimes. Viva has better acceleration

I am currently using works drop in filter. Really help alot in acceleration but i feel much more can be done.

Im planning to remove the airbox and run an air duct from the front grill to the filter.. I also plan to wrap the extractors with thermal wrap because the air duct might be very close to the extractor, i dont want it to be heating up the air. My car really runs very smooth n nice during morning n late evenings. Or any weather that has temp below 30 degrees..

Currently running on stock rims... Maybe one day upgrade to 15" light Weight one.

For exhaust. I have zero knowledge... But i might wanna mod it soon as well. I dont mind a little bit of bassy sound, but not those really loud like racing cars, my neighbors will rape me.

Do you guys have other ideas that i can do to increase acceleration?

Its waste of money in my opinion, ecu are adapted to save fuel. No matter how hard play with intake and exhaust, ecu will just re-learn. What u will feel is just placebo effect or maybe 1-2% increments
