1st, like PedoJokerBear-XII thanks _Buyer for his questions. i have some question here. my car is an old honda accord ca1 and need to be change due to its rusty condition. so im planning to get a new exhaust system with good fc on it and less noise. my current engine is carb A18A with auto transmission. what is the recommended setting for it? if perodua and proton have hotbit, powerzone, marco what brand is suitable for old honda? TQ!

Lets say if your piping is 1.8", using a bigger muffler like 2" is still okay, no problems
Not until too big like 2.3" or 2.5" for the muffler

yes. more loud than sflow.

there is slight different between sflow n straight flow. like u noe, sflow gives u more power on low or mid hp, mean while straight is d other way. if u change from sflow to vice versa, u can feel there is different although not much.

if goin for halfcut, better make sure its japang mali, wit jasma tag (ribet on d muffler).

if u wan cheap n cheerful, kweng shop is d way to go..

topcat/matola etc hav better inner side quality.. generally, muffler in malaysia r universal.. MOST r 2" inlet...... so vry difficult to find smaller size..

well... it all depends on which school of tuning u r at. some school tune for most little resistance to exhaust flow, some tune for best sound wave pressure, n alot more schools..

generally, people will tune for little resistance to exhaust flow.. when u r this type of school, then using 2" muffler is better choice.

generally, resistance for straight flow muffler; -100cfm or below, resistance for sflow muffler; - cfm for inner diameter divide by 2. this is rough estimation based on more well known muffler..

How big is your Matola S-flow? 2" inlet?

For straight flow, to avoid the pprraanngg sound, avoid types like the 5zigen Border 304 muffler

2" got... look for fgk muffler wit jasma tag... hks also got ..tanabe also got... look at mudah... bkful as alot imitation goin around.. ori jasma tag is weld by ribet..

and 2.3" straightflow muffler is fine with 2" pipes... had that setup last time...coz its nearing the end already

I plan to change my LMST muffler. Noisy like.... What size of inlet/outlet is best for my car? The exhaust system 3is stock, I just want to change the muffler. And will S/straight flow have any difference? I'm looking for bassy sound (but not very ahbeng loud) while idling
