You should be thankful and feel lucky that you're one of the satisfied customer.

According to kweng84, the muffler sound will last for 1 1/2 year. But currently the sound already lari a bit, but not much. During high rev the ganas sound is still there, uhh freaking chun. I know muffler won't last, other than this I think is ok.

And, my this kind of driving style, the setup is still good condition then is really good already ler.

I like this muffler and setup a lot. No regrets.

If I were to go JFA, I would need to pay double price for sure. Exhaust no need to go for chun one, because they won't last for long.

I think it really depends on which branch you go to, because the guy who did for me is a real nice chap. Before he weld the muffler, he ask me is this the position you want. And also advise me on going for a proper setup.

Some shops, you want this and that, they straight away weld for you without asking your opinion. You pick, they weld and pay, that's it. Those are fakap shops.

I paid RM600+ for midbox, piping and muffler, nice muffler and setup + ganas & bassy sound to my liking, where to find at this price? I love the muffler sound very much. hands.gif

If we really believe what he says, we'll be dead. I don't trust him anymore for not honoring what he says and to me it's simple, if you're not honest while doing business, that's the end of it smile.gif We're talking about customer satisfaction, returning customers and trustworthiness. How can you say something that is made in China be made in Taiwan instead? (that's just one freaking example of lies and I have many more to tell).

I think both our requirements are different. You wanted an exhaust system that'll give you "ganas and bassy" sound the moment you start your engine but I wanted something that is as silent as possible. For "ganas and bassy" setup, I wouldn't know if RM600+ is worth it for your setup because it depends what mufflers/midbox you are using. Many of them would cost cheaper compared to a more silent setup. However despite paying a bomb for my exhaust modification at WAI HENG, the sound output from my exhaust is like a roaring tiger (now that really sucks).

You don't have to go JFA for good exhaust and there are many other capable shops around. The reason why I went to WAI HENG is because I trusted this dishonest chap at the first place which I shouldn't smile.gif

I went to Setapak and Puchong branch and the Setapak one was horrible. The workmanship and recommendation was totally unacceptable. My mid muffler leaked due to the quality of the part instead of the welding. Nevertheless, it's just a waste of time going to WAI HENG.

I wouldn't bet on WAI HENG anymore. The workmanship and people working there might be ok but their products are NOT OK smile.gif

The branch that you go to most probably some chao lala ah beng did for you. The guy who did for me is a real nice chap, humble guy named Ah Keong. This guy really know what he is doing. I like his character and attitude, not arrogant nor showing off. You should come down to Klang to meet this guy, if you want to give it a try.

Or, I let you sit in my car, bring you for a spin, let you hear the sound, then you decide from there.

I don't earn anything by recommending you to him, I'm not close to him, only met him twice. Just that I think this guy deserves to earn more.

Aiya, fakap people are everywhere, that's why sometimes we don't get something up to our expectation.

The chap is kweng84? I only trust the person who weld for me, kweng is only doing sales. sweat.gif

Btw, how much did you pay for the setup? Which includes?

If I hantam 6500RPM on 1st and 2nd gear, the sound like Subaru ler. tongue.gif

I went to 2 WAI HENG's and the first one (Setapak XIN EXHAUST) was totally screwed because their recommendation was totally wrong. The setup was noisy and the car vibrating like mad when you step on the accelerator. The reason is because of the loud humming sound from the mid and rear muffler. After that I changed to a more silent setup in Puchong where I was made to pay RM550. They re-did everything from the front till the rear and the guy also seemed to know what he is doing. However on one fine day, I drove to Cameron Highlands only to know my top speed stays at 170km/h. After that, I went to Genting and came back with a damaged/leaked mid muffler which produces loud humming sound. Not long later, my O2 sensor was broken.

In total, I've spent RM1400+ on WAI HENG but now, I don't use anything from them at all. It's only about 2-3 months and I had everything including piping changed from another shop in Ampang. This new place that I go to have better quality mufflers and are more silent as well.

As I say, what we want is different and mine at 6,500rpm is only some buzzing sound smile.gif I want a setup that is as silent as possible.

Mine is more of a S-flow setup as well, high revs at 6.5K really much more silent than my previous straight flow setup >_< Mine was done at a different shop, in PJ called Lai Exhaust

Paid RM4xx for the Sflow muffler, 2 years plus, now the sound still good albeit a bit noisier than b4, welding all good wink.gif

Thanks for sharing shinjite and you have a good point there. The quality of the muffler you've purchased and price you paid for lasted you 2 years but what I got from WAI HENG was totally the opposite.

The sound gets noisier possibly because of the material inside the muffler which absorbs sound was worn off. Well, 2 years plus is pretty good already and even in my previous car, the local made muffler lasted me 2-3 years.
