oh because i saw quite a lot of your posts here/elsewhere pertaining exhausts so thought you memang kept changing full setups laugh.gif

honestly i wouldn't know on this as i get a lot of mix feedback too even after going through this whole thread, pm'ing/discussing with a lot of sifu. some say 4-1 wont hurt low (i never heard 4-1 give better low end though) end while give you a lot of high end, while others swear by 4-2-1. rclxub.gif

Haha ya la quite lot of exhaust system post..don't know la but i really trust my butt dyno..and the result is quite good on dyno dynamics.means my butt dyno can pakai la..haha..takpa maaa..experimental a bit on exhaust system.. tongue.gif
Eh if the 4-1 will not hurt the low end power,then why they still selling 4-2-1 ah? since the 4-1 can get both low end and high end power?

haha ... true and not true....
just like asking, got turbo why still need charger ?

Its all about setup and tuning it... you can setup your turbo act like charger so why people create charge?

all because of it application and setup.

lu sekalang mau better low end a? but u need sacrifice high end power. u ok? lol

GENERALLY, 4-1 header hav more narrow powerband...but wit proper 4-1 exhaust system, u can hav both..

4-1 exhaust system r vry hard to mix n match... like all noe, 421 header generally gibs wider powerband improvement.. 4-1 header narrower powerband..

Can change whole exhaust system help improve FC?
Because stock exhaust never change for 16 years
So changing new will have better flow, thus improving FC?

I'm already very very light foot. Rpm won't go over 3 and stays at 2 most of the time. smile.gif
So change new can help?

Actually la,u need to know air fuel ratio in your engine RPM range..
Maybe below 3k your tuning is damn rich,and u keep driving like that everytime...that's why FC kao2..
Better dyno first to see your car capability and readings.

In my opinion. The best extractor is the one that have best merge collector design..

Bare in mind..
1) with 4-2-1 extractor..
the exhaust pulse need to flow through 2 merge collector

2) with 4-1 extractor..
the exhaust pulse need to flow through 1 merge collector only

If the merge collector design is not good.. it will effect the exhaust gas flow..

For me... I rather let my exhaust pulse flow through 1 merge collector(4-1 extractor) rather than 2 merge collector(4-2-1).

Hey guys, anyone know the price for Superstreet Campro IAFM extractor?

I plan to change my extractor first, will. I feel any difference?

My car is Gen 2 1.6 Auto Campro IAFM engine.

Really need help on this.

I know is not cheap but if their extractor is really good I don't mind paying it as it is long term.

I can't possibly ask them for a feedback on their own product that's why i need to ask a third party.

anyone here heard / tried / using their extractor?

Anything you change on the front of the exhaust system will give you substantial difference (compared to anything on the rear for a start) biggrin.gif As to whether it gives positive/negative difference, it would depends on the design. Please remember that car manufacturers have proper equipments to test and do calculations to come up with an optimized exhaust design. Those kedai Ah Beng exhaust shops have nothing but mufflers/piping hanging all over which claims they can do wonders.

If you can find proper design/tuned exhaust for your engine, it would be your best bet. However it would cost you a bit more smile.gif
