1st car, my dad fix it, around RM2.8-3.5k (price not stable as there's always got promotion or something), 2nd car, now driving, brought from my dad's fren, a taxi driver, comes with the car when taxi time..  thumbup.gif
nop, surely not, driving using NGV will cut off 50% (less) power compare to petrol, but if u wan, u can always switch back to use petrol to drive, u can choose either option. Put back petrol tat time maa pump in V-Power lo..  tongue.gif

Can it be switched either petrol or NGV flexibly while the car is running?
Or we need to stop the car and shut the engine down?

If from NGV -> Petrol = Yes
If from Petrol -> NGV = No (Need to finish off the petrol in the 'caprator' (not sure how to spell it) and need to shut down the engine 1st)

No Prob!  biggrin.gif
u interested to install a NGV system? now even bus also using NGV to save cost, Diesel nowadays is expensive liao..
*
I am interested but the major problem is that the gas is only available at petronas petrol station. Wherenever I pass by petronas, there are surely a lot of taxi drivers queuing out there, you imagine how they will look at me as a normal vehicle oso pumping natural gas? I don't dare to do so, some taxi drivers very fierce... Scare....

depends lo, sometimes very fast oni, queue 5mins time, or even sometimes no need queue (if my place here laa, shah alam)..  tongue.gif

as when u pump (NGV), u'll always pump till it full, a full 'tong' of NGV cost about (max)RM9 (now laa  laugh.gif ) will able to run about 120 KM like tat..

so, is around RM0.05 - 0.075 per KM  thumbup.gif
*
my place is near by kuchai lama, there is only petronas petrol station out there. Whenever i pass by, sure got a lot taxi drivers there queuing for pumping NGV, i think more thank 25 taxi.

how much for the installation oh? Izzit tank capacity fixed or standard? How big leh? Isn't it heavy if put in the trunk? then my iswara looks like low rider... haha.

Thks! rclxms.gif

the cab driver told me that full complete kit for ngv installed for iswara is about  RM3000.00. By paying +- RM8.00 for the NGV gas, the car can reach 130++KM...
*
how big is the tank? Izit standard one?

yep, correct!  rclxms.gif
But my car sometimes can go about 150-160KM, if highway mayb can reach 200KM  tongue.gif
RM8.50 / 200KM = Rm0.04 (per KM)  rclxm9.gif
yep, is standard size for iswara, it cover your almost half or your 'boots' (where the space inside both rear tyre section), if like those LIMO cab, their NGV tank will b much more larger as they can pump till RM13-15 (if not mistaken..)
*
Wow! drool.gif Sounds like I can keep a lot of pocket money of getting rid of pumping petrol if I installed NGV... drool.gif

QUOTE(singchaii @ Oct 19 2006, 01:16 PM)
Oh.. Mean you still can choose to pump gas or petrol la.. But then, wat if ur gas tank and petrol tank is full? Got switch to choose wanna use wat?

Some more, if my iswara convert to ngv, i think no place to put woofer.. haha..
*
Ya there is a switch at the driver side. You pay attention when u got chance to take a cab and look at the driver seat (jus right beside the bonnet switch)

Take away ur woofer lar or go for small woofer..

As woe.com said to me:

If from NGV -> Petrol = Yes
If from Petrol -> NGV = No (Need to finish off the petrol in the 'caprator' (not sure how to spell it) and need to shut down the engine 1st)

Very flexible...
