QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Mar 7 2007, 02:34 AM) dun la pls... oem mudguards would be good enough... those ralliart or greddy mudflaps looks vr ahbeng.... Yaya...the mechanic also add these thing with my new sport rims......but i m still using the stock suspension......so far nothing happen......quite satisfy with it...and no extra FC......bcoz the tyres that i m using is synergy M5.....got fuel saving features not sure la... havent change mine yet.... but if its accurate, rm180 is ok lah... all sportrims with 8lugs (2 PCD) need to add spacer in front... this is because it needs to clear the 4 bolt head on the wheel hub... if u can find 4 lugs rims, no need to use spacer lor... see... ![]() spacer is also used in other reason such as clearing ur inner arch.... given that u cannot find the proper offset rims.... if ur rim's offset is correct, u dont need spacer to clear the inner arch.... i'm using 15x6.5jj rims with lowered suspension... rear arch clearance is about 1cm both inside and outside.... |

QUOTE(blackpc @ Mar 7 2007, 05:09 PM) i'm with you man. I have faith in the brand (and i have no money to buy hondas). emm.....about few weeks liao.....even it is no extra FC after i changed from 14" to 15" sport rims......but from the beginning until now the FC also quite high compare with others......and my speed is about 80-100km/h like tat.....seldom drive fast one..... catacombs had that picture long time ago. He purposely take pictures of whatever related to his car, so he can show it to us when we need his wisdom. People dont call him sifu for nothing. how long has u been using the new sport rims, and may i know how fast u usually drive? Anyway, of course no extra fc, 15" rims with 195/50/15 total diameter is actually slightly smaller than 185/60/14. the speakers? very tiny weeny the door visors stuck to the door with 3M. |

QUOTE(blackpc @ Mar 7 2007, 11:36 PM) only 2 at the back. open the boot, and you shall see the tiny speakers near the seatbelt's mountings. wah....sure boh? RM70 can reach 550km to 600km.... dont replace the tiny speakers, as it is too tiny. usually u wont feel the vibrations caused by the spacers at that speed yet. To gain better fc, service your car at regular intervals, and be particular about the air filters and spark plugs. My 1 year old LMST still can give me around 550 to 600km per rm70 of petrol, in mixed mode driving. yup.. definitely. u'll start to feel the vibrations once u speed more that 100km/h. that's y i gave up the 15" and revert to 14", because most of the time i'm on highways and will be doing 100km/h to 120km/h. to rectify, use 4 lugs rims with exact offset and you can forget the spacers. |
