Dudes, my year 2000 Iswara is like RM60 for 360KM for city-driving!  Let's not talk about highways.  Is this like shit or what?  My friends' Waja (automatic) is giving same mileage also!  How can this be?  My car screwed up or what?

I used to drive an older Iswara last time and full tank manages almost 500km.

am about to send my car for third service, 10,000+ km
what's the advantage of sending it for servicing at the authorize Proton mechanics? from the Service Booklet here, it says only the first 3 service that'll be free? but then, what's the free thing there? i still have to pay, right?
because personally, i think the people at this freaking Proton bengkel nearby my house here are damn kau chat lanci and i have never like them a bit since the first time that i service my car. they don't really entertain the customers if they see them driving LMST, seriously. if you drive a Perdana, Waja, fuuulamak, these KNN *toot toot toot* would go all the way to greet them and kiss their @ss. it's just so damn stupid la

my advice is, for the inexperienced, dont adjust the afr all by yourself. just spend a mere rm18, get it tuned at any proton service centre.

as for me, i service my car all the time at normal workshop, but following all the guidelines in the manual book. every 20k, after service i go to proton sc, and get the car tuned.

cost? saved around rm150 per full service. (proton parts are more expensive and labour charge range from rm50-rm100)

feeling after servicing? Priceless!  (tiru iklan mastercard)

panas engine before driving is said to prolong the engine life... some sort like a myth... but it is certainly better to warm up ur engine before driving la... u wont feel the car sluggish....
heel and toe braking means u rev up the rpm before letting off the clutch while u are braking.... some sort like 2 foot pressing on 3 pedals.....

for example, when u approach a corner, u start braking.... when u drop gear, u need to let go of the clutch rite??... to prevent excessive wearout on the clutch, u rev the rpm up (by using ur heel to tap the gas pedal) to match ur car speed while releasing the clutch.... u do all this while u are still braking the car....

engine braking aids braking quite alot... it removes alot of load off ur brakes... thus, vr helpful when ur brakes starts to fade....

Your car got power sterring? If have, then you is ok you change to the smaller 1. But if you don't have, then will abit difficult lor. Erm. Some lowyatian or zerotohundred got sell. CHeap and nice.

my silicon refill wiper start to "jump" on the windscreen some while ago
then i change to bosch one
but show no diff,
it stil jumping! 

try many method,
use the kitchen plate cleaner to mop windscreen
adjust the wiping angle
adjust the wiper arm angle
no use..
btw, i hv another problem recently
so far i never met another iswara driver having the same problem wif me
my fuel meter is jam! 

it stil moving up and down
but in certain height such as first line and near 2nd line
it will not go down...
at first i tot my car begin to save fuel
but after 2 days only i realise it did not drop at all
lucky i go pump petrol after that...

so any idea how to solve this?

hahaha... same goes here... changed a few wipers... from rm5 ones to bosch...

rain-x tends to wear off quickly... especially now in this weather.. so i use a lil bit of wax. yep... your normal car wax... hehehe...
