oh, just a thought
roughly how much would it costs to install the fog lights on LMST?
what shape do you think it would be nicer?
round, or rectangular?
*
I suggest you get HELLA rectangle foglight. RM88 each. More bright and more useful. Yellow spot light. If wan install this, make sure install properply and dun shot people eye.

ermm,
does installing foglight help visibility during rain?

He driving Proton Putra. Sorry brother.. The picture i will post it next week. College final exam coming. So i quite busy for study. hehe.
Foglight doesn't help much in raining day. But, if you install the hella spot light, It will help you much in raining or fog.
QUOTE(blackpc @ Jan 22 2007, 07:26 AM)
i dont think HID is good for LMST. Within 1 year, I've to replace my headlamps, as the plastics has shown visible cracks due to heat and weather. HID albeit running at lower power compared to normal bulbs, generates higher temperature.

But I've seen some LMST with HID... looks ok but I dont know what's the long term effect to the headlamps itself.

Yeah, thinking of doing the same.. booster coupled with Philips or Michiba bulbs... any idea how much the cost would be??  sweat.gif
*
You are correct. Don't think wanna put HID in iswara especially LMST. Because LMST headlamp is made from plastic. Very fast turning to yellow and the reflective inside very fast getting kong. But last time in SOIC i saw a member using HID with crsytal headlamp. It cost rm8++ for the headlamp. If wan HID feel, you can try get MICHIBA 4750k or 5000k. It sell below rm200 only.

Thinking of repainting mine to black.

Sure not cheap la! I kena conned by that shop liao. I respray it cost RM1.3k plus change the engine hood. As the Fella said is Metallic White, but What I see is, it more white and shine compare with my old stock white colour. My dad respray his Pajero only RM1.2k. Fully metallic colour. So you think consider cheap or not lor.
