QUOTE(vicks @ Jun 19 2006, 02:01 PM)
15'' will be nice fit at iswara/saga. 16 is quite ok but a bit heavy. 17 will jejak your body one. hehehe. spinner smallest is 17'' i think ..

adhering by the 3% rule, 15" rims with 195/50/15 tyres are the best upgrade....less than 1% difference. if you dont mind losing some pick up and adding some 'bumps' to your ride, go for 205/45/16...same like wira SE. handling should improve (more surface area, thinner sidewalls) but less comfortable. thumbup.gif

VS-stabilize your car voltage, i know...but what for ? i mean any advantage if my car voltage stabilize?
*
theoritically, when u accelerate your car generates electricity right? so when u brake or change gear, the electricity stops hence your car lose power a bit during this period. Having a grounding kit+vs will help feel in this gap, and u'll notice a smoother drive, and NO, it wont make your car do 100m under 10secs or gain extra 10km/h top speed. hehehehe. laugh.gif

THAT MEAN JUST FOR SMMTHER DRIVE? NO POWER INCREST?

IMHO, IT'S FOR SMOOTHER ACCELERATION AND IMPROVED AUDIO EXPERIENCE ONLY. CANT COMMENT MUCH ON THE POWER INCREASE. thumbup.gif

Hi all,

Currently a year 2000 iswara a/b owner. Doing slight over 300km on rm 40. everything ok except my car's distributor is making rattling noise (constantly). anyone have this problem before? and i'm interested on this voltage stabilizer. how much does an average cost and what brand?Where can I get it installed?and how to be sure it's working properly (concern of pirated ones), smile.gif
*
the cheapest functioning vs u can get from kelvin 0163808883. very friendly and he delivered it to me in ampang around 10pm. have a grounding kit installed as well to reap maximum benefit. u should feel smoother acceleration especially during gear change. thumbup.gif

I had solve my problem for the sssshhh sound on my car. And now got new problem occur.. The problem is, when i turn off my car (switch it off in free gear mode), the car will shake ( like when you step on the clucth on gear 1 and then you lepas the clucth very fast). What happen on my car again?
*
hmm happens to my car too. usually if u immediately switch off after a journey this will happen. i think it's related to afr/timing settings. as for me i dont really bother about it at this point of time, just that every time i reach my destination, i idle the car about 30 secs before switch off.

anyone know where to fix cold air intake for iswara ? i've seen some exported iswara or wiras having a pipe connected to the side of the engine compartment for COI
*
all UK version iswara has that better air intake system. i'm wondering myself maybe we can get it in 'chop shop' somewhere (the whole air filter/intake set).

if u r looking to customised the CAI, it cant be exactly like what u've seen in those UK spec iswara. use the aftermarket hose, and connect thru the fender...that's the normal practice. icon_rolleyes.gif
