If you were doing a presentation or some funky club thing then yeah, I can see how that's applicable.
But for website design, nothing beats the QWERTY and mouse for the time being. |

no way man. that thing is tiring to use.
try playing an RTS or other games with that, and play 9 hours straight. any form of arm-rest would hinder your movement. it seems nice, but if you think about it the device only suits certain applications. |

In My Humble Opinion
i think when all user use touch screen on thier monitor as a Human Interface Devices, then i think surfing website can be more fun. of cos for the time being nothing can beat keyboard and mouse. after all.. maxthon ( tabbed browser ).. having something like this Mouse gestures click at mouse gestures and you'll see it.. of cos it is using mouse but it represent our hand. even if using that device as a game i want to play it.. tiring is another thing. better start saving money for buying that stuf. //offtopic - come to this FOTOPAGES COMPETITION and vote which one is the best. my friend entry is number 9 and 10.. thanks in advance This post has been edited by momochi zabuza: Feb 14 2006, 02:47 PM |

IMHO, the mouse (or pen on tablets) will be here to stay due to the accuracy needed, especially for graphic work like vector. There's no way your fingers can accurately select or do things a mouse pointer can... not at higher and finer resolutions.
Surely you wouldn't wanna be working on 640x480? |

Nice peiece of equipment. Will take alot of time to perfect the skill. Human are lazy to change and always resistance to change. Change the QWERTY keyboard and many will object. This is human beung. If it ain broken do not fix.
I think many can achieve the things we do today using that device with practice. Just like the PDA, use to swear at it. After some training U'll be fine. This post has been edited by xetajones: Feb 17 2006, 01:26 AM |
