Today @kuala terengganu i notice speed improvement. Usually got 2mbps but today almost 3.6mbps all the time. Tested using my nokia n900. Here, people usually use celcom broadband, so im taking the dark side by using maxis. smile.gif smile.gif

You has to register first then they will allow you using their regsitered user test. It much accurate i think since the old days of cablenut setting.

Today maxis sms me saying im using 80% of my bandwith. Never thought that uploading is include in quota. Im uploading almost 2gb because my hdd is almost full. Just renew the package last week. I need to get those unlimit plan but rm3** is a bit expensive for fresh graduate who dont have permanent work..

Already spent rm68 for 3gb. No more for this month. I'll use my mum 4mb steamyx for uploading although it 4**kbps. Will take time to upload it. Haihh..

There's a program named cfosspeed. It function to manage packet up & dl. I wonder what the result of combination cfoss+ tweak modem + unlimit plan. I remember the year of windows 98 and early xp, modifying windows network value setting like mtu 1498 for dsl and others tweak in hope the line would became faster. Lol..

That awesome DIY should post at mr3420 thread.. doh.gif lol. Btw right now near my place maxis is tweaking their tower i think coz suddenly i got full bar inside my house. Usually only got 1 or 2 bar 3G only. Maybe they implement the qos 42mbps coz i spot the tower inside a mosque infront of dato che mat jusoh house, vip in terengganu football.

you can refer to quick setup menu in the router. if you connect tm modem to mr3420, you should disable either tm modem or mr3420's dhcp server. otherwise it would be ip conflict.

p/s: blacktubi already answer it. late comment doh.gif doh.gif
