Guys, is it recommended to buy yagi antenna since im using e367 with around 93dbm at home and usually get speed of 4mbps average. QOS is 16000/8640. Althought with that signal, my idm donload speed can reach average 900kbps during dawn(3am-6am)

I'm using E367 and the top speed i can get on idm is 1.4mbps(QOS 16000/8640). Wonder if i use E372, would it be faster on the exact place where i tested my e367?

Can we trust the maxis coverage map on their website? Bcoz i found out that DC HSPA+ is available in all cities in malaysia. Or is it only in kl, penang, jb only? Currently using e367 n detected 16000/8640 here in kuching. Let say i change to e372, do i get 42000/8640 in my area?

they are DC HSPA+ "ready", maxis may not have it "activated" in all locations,  QoS depends on hardware, sim package, and the allocated qos to the tower, some may restrict it lower as the tower is congested

i see. So big cities in borneo such as Kuching, KK, Miri no 42mbps tower yet?

I just hope once maxis implement 4g network next year, all DCHSPA+ enabled towers throughout the country will support up to 42mbps at least.

Useless if 42000 QoS but congested.
I know some lucky users can get up to QoS limit @ 16000 because their area is totally not congested.

They should increase their bandwidth backbone, increasing QoS just a placebo effect

Haha. ya, true also. rclxms.gif

Still remember in those days where we were still using Jaring dial up connection with speed of 56kbps. Limewire was among the popular p2p client back then and it took me 40 minutes to download 4mb song.haha
