so u mean after u set to UMTS2100 only in MDMA band config,

no more data traffic flow ?  then u can see the CELL ID or not ? 

if can see CELL ID, then should have data flow

then i guess ur area not suitable for UMTS2100,..

guess u need to switch it back to automatic 

those band config is easy for ZTE,.. not like huawei

i just learn my lesson my flashing my ZTE MF680,..

after u flashing update, u will 100% confirm losing the purple, worse case scenerio, u lost the DC capability and it will end up like mine zte mf680 on single channel 

That was speaking from my recent lesson, i believe there is a few more user also end up same case like me too, u can check with them.

ZTE MF680 firmware/ dashboard is very hard to find online, we did search online for a whole afternoon once fews day ago..

weird thing today i found out:

my ZTE MF680 is back to normal again  even with Blue LED



it was so ding dong after flashing the B04 swedish firmware last time. so i flash u mobile firmware also,.. ( but realise u mobile is not DC-HSPA+ ),.. so i decide to flash it back to swedish B04 firmware ( double flash ) then i leave it one side after my E372 arrive

just now though try it and rotate using it with E372

and IDM super stable like old time 1.7MB/s +/-

wait until tomorrow afternoon time and monitor closely,. to see whether same speed at afternoon,.

Just rip your MF680 TX Power virginity value to 26!

if u increase by 3dbm at every level, u are actually multiplying/amplifying 2x the tx power (wireless transmission power)

e.g if default 20dbm = 100mW (miliwatt), +3 to 23dbm =200mW, + 3 up to 26dbm = 400mW. it is 2x the tx power at every level. add 1dbm also big effect: 26dbm = 400mW, +1 to 27dbm = 500mW.

consequences:
1) speed up the wear and tear of hardware transmission unit, modem durability is ignored. ppl who not quite understand the risk keep tuning up happily, end up sudden dead of modem tx unit during usage or one day u plug in to computer but cannot dial up, ie modem still recognised by computer, but no more wireless function, can't connect to internet.

2) increasing 2x rf radiation if tune up doubling power to human body. FCC certification no longer apply bcoz they test and approved on original hardware setup.
but if don't mind,  can actually tune up to 30dbm if dare: 1000mW of a single usb modem, how powerful is it right.
for this kind of risk journey tutorial, a big and clear WARNING STATEMENT TO END USER AND DISCLAIMER OF LEGAL LIABILITY should have been lay out clearly and let user be well informed of consequences.

FCC limit for 3G is 27dBm ya, take note this one
Next, anything over 27dBm will be no effect on the modem, even you put 99dBm there will be no more effect. 

If the modem so will fail in a 3dBm increase of TX Power, that modem is classified as defective and should be send to warranty. 

Next, if 400mW is dangerous, then you should stop using microwave oven and cell phone bro. And who else use a modem beside their head

Anyway, I got a radiation meter with be always, I can make a comparison for you if you request 

dont worry as i break eough modem myself already,

i totally have no issue in tweaking class with my available modem 

after tweak result -> TX 26

even day time speed is amazing on no star IP,. imagine if i get 5 star IP   

I've been there bro, be patient, it's worth it..

After you got your simcard and start downloading @ 1.8~2++mbps, you can be sitting infront of your computer just to watch the speed, all day long, trust me.. HAHA
