mf680.. better put a heat sink. double sided tape it to metal surface
sacrifice the signal a bit but it runs cool.
*
I tried, signal didn't decrease but it increase

Depends on where you use the Heatsink

There are 2 side, use it on the side with no antenna

QUOTE(Narako @ Sep 27 2012, 07:13 PM)
which would be better to get mf680 or e372?

cuz now planning to get mf680. if e372 then have to wait and save up for it.
*
Very personal problem
E372 perform good 99% of the time
MF680 will slow down if not cooled

If you got the patience to slowly use fan, heatsink, then MF680

My location terrible too.

Fast and slow, from 1MB to 200KB then back to 1MB. Drop and reconnect.

Still no major down smile.gif

Finally finish 1.1GB of iOS6

oh yeah.. i remember about that decrease battery life thingie now. after this i will definitely take out battery if prolonged usage at home. thanks mate biggrin.gif
on battery i would say the speed is quite linear and stable until the device fully deplete of power. i would see the bandwidth monitor app above suddenly drop to zero sometimes only to realize i forgot to turn the charger on and the mifi depleted itself lol
*
Thanks for your input biggrin.gif

How about the famous heat issue, does it cause stability issue when the device heated up notworthy.gif

I found your speed test and understand why yours 7MB Liao tongue.gif
Because prepaid broadband got 8640 limit and you striked the limit after congestion factor drool.gif
Try true unlimited broadband see brows.gif

Side note : next time request the seller to use foam packaging with sealed check content notice. A tips from my local post office icon_rolleyes.gif

Get the 68 or 99 package. You won't regret the speed increase tongue.gif
Your place got 16000 QoS support at least. But I don't think 42000 is available
