either u enable the wrong port number or your other software is running and occupied your modem port 

if under 8640 / 8640 QoS:

if u can try connect UMTS900 band tower, it might be better speed than UMTS2100 Band tower

it will always jump to UMTS2100 first  instead of GSM 

My speed goes back to super slow again after the hike in weekend. So I tweeted with my Speedtest results which hardly reached 1.5Mbps.

External antenna usages is for :

- improve signal RSSI
- improve your consistency in your connection
- reduce up down ding dong
- keeping the connection stable even during bad weather
External Antenna is not for :
- Improve speed
your Speed is mainly base on the base station/ tower you connected,
even your signal can be lame -95 ~ 101dBm, if the tower not congested, you will still get superb speed 
concept is like: your wireless router, more people share the router : less speed you are getting
