if under 8640 / 8640 QoS:

if u can try connect UMTS900 band tower, it might be better speed than UMTS2100 Band tower
*
how did i change the band tower? from the MDMA but only 5 choices available in the band config

Automatic
UTMS 850 + GSM 900/1800 - cannot choose this, when click this, it will back to the previous setting
UTMS 2100 + GSM 900/1800(Europe) - only this can be choose
UTMS 850/2100 + GSM 900/1800 - only this can be choose
UTMS 850/1900 + GSM 850/1900 - no service

MDMA result

QXDM result

4 colour in the bottom graph means DC-HSPA+ connection right?

My assumption
DC-HSPA+
8640*2
*
im using MF680 and my QXDM showing 8640 / 8640 and it is connected to DC.
So i might possible to have QoS 16000 too. blush.gif

select UMTS2100 + GSM900/1800 europe  notworthy.gif

it will always jump to UMTS2100 first  instead of GSM  notworthy.gif

My speed goes back to super slow again after the hike in weekend. So I tweeted with my Speedtest results which hardly reached 1.5Mbps.

You know what the damned Maxis replied me in their tweet? I was cursing like hell when I read the tweets! mad.gif vmad.gif

Part 1: Hi,we have checked with our technical team & it was revealed that a technical issue was identified earlier with the [1]

Part 2: serving site but has since been rectified. In regards to the speedtest provided,we hv been advised that this is not a slow[2]

Part 3: browsing as the speed is of above 0.4Mbps. Do share with us if U hv any concerns.TQ-Elle

mad.gif 0.4Mbps is considered good? WTF! mad.gif

haha...this is funny... tongue.gif
maybe their expectation is only 0.4Mbps for everyone.

External antenna usages is for :

- improve signal RSSI
- improve your consistency in your connection
- reduce up down ding dong
- keeping the connection stable even during bad weather
External Antenna is not for :
- Improve speed
your Speed is mainly base on the base station/ tower you connected,
even your signal can be lame -95 ~ 101dBm, if the tower not congested, you will still get superb speed  notworthy.gif
concept is like: your wireless router, more people share the router : less speed you are getting  notworthy.gif
*
but signal RSSI should indirectly related to the speed right?? less signal loss... tongue.gif
