I don't mind how fast the fan is just what step me back is the noise  sad.gif

Guys, if you want a nice ratio between fan performance and noise, get Noctua
You won't regret. Especially when you need your modem inside your bedroom
*
that usb mini fan is actually very quiet and super silent,.. of course server fan confirm sound like engine room,. laugh.gif

Not that expensive actually, you dun use 24/7, just a few hrs a day.

But the speed is very much different, i used under the aircond blower, my speed can touch 5Mbps but if i move to another location, the speed drops to only abt 1.5Mbps  doh.gif

The temperature of the modem and router play a very important part in determining the performance.
*
i have to say add on the server fan blowing,

result in my area is getting much more stable compare to before,

more power = more performances = more heat = more cooling

Yea it is up to personal preferences,

i much more prefer the noisy server fan, at least i know the fan is turbo enough to provide air flow @ Max 24/7 all time,

we all just try to get the temperature control @ best method we prefer
