I notice from the redhat website that it will cost us thousands of bucks for a normal redhat certification.

Is this worth the money?
BTW, anyone have have gone through the mill on this cert.?
Where to get it locally?
Which one of the cert. is better? http://apac.redhat.com/training/gear/

From what I'm looking at, if I'm not going for a Advance Sys. Admin on Linux, I think the basic one will do for me... What do you say?

Thanks for any comments or share of experience...

Well, it's about nature of the work we are in as well...
For instance, for my case... I often need to support customer with LINUX/UNIX servers even though i'm not extremely good at it.
But some of the IT guys there (especially those famous corporate bumi company), the first thing that they will asked was...
Are u XXX certified?

Crazy!!! As if i need a stupid cert to show him that i can troubleshoot his problem...

Ppl nowaday are toooo blinded by academic factor...

Anyway, thanks guys for the useful info on the cert issue.
