ps. So if one is VERY dependent on Proton's warranty, it's advisable 2follow strictly 2wat's stated officially in Proton's T&C.
Anyway, fyi Proton only warrants most parts for ONLY ONE (1) YEAR! Only the Engine & GBox is for 3 years.
