This is why I hate buying 2 parts separate from different dealer. I have been interested in starting self study airbrush painting for some time, thought today is a good day to go buy all the required stuff so I can finally get started.

I live in klang area, and since I have some un-finish business in kepong I thought I should prob get the entire set there. Went down saw this shop selling mid size air tank and compressor and they have all the stuff like air filter regulator, host but don't have airbrush. So after ta pau everything I ask the uncle would that 3 meter flexible air host be able to fit a airbrush or not, pointing at that picture I assume he knew what an airbrush is.

He assured me that all connector are standard now a days and all airbrush can fit. So I went on to subang and purchase an airbrush, my mistake was I forgot to bring the host to the shop and test. bought the Tagore brand duo action 3.0 airbrush then go home happy thinking I gonna test it today.

Both shop uncle also say standard, go home connect that time ... *******. The airbrush is like 1 size smaller, cannot connect and snap into the host head (the flexible air host come with a head snapper) . . . went to shop around klang and ask a few shop if they got sell something like a connector or host that can connect to the bigger head to the smaller airbrush gun or not all no clue how.

So now I'm stuck with the standard 3 meter flexible air host and the smaller size airbrush that doesn't fit to the host. Anyone know where can I find any shop that sell a connector that can connect the smaller airbrush to the bigger air host ?

I know those smaller air compressor + tank and host + airbrush for professional are a perfect match, but the price is so high for someone who is just starting out and self study for fun, that is why I decided to get the cheaper one and train for a while before I decide any further, one of my friend hand been using mid size air tank and normal size air brush b4 and say it's pretty good for starters, since noice is not a factor in my area so I decide to follow him, he's kind of busy this few months so I thought it's best not to pester him.

Why dont you go back to kepong and try to exchange the hose? I assume the hose, regulator, filter etc were not sold as a set.

far ler, from klang to kepong again, the shop is selling all sorts of machine type like leaf blower , air tank and other product, if go there later he say don't have the fitting piece I get screw again.

Pretty sure klang here should have some shop that sell a plug in piece to connect between the smaller air brush and the bigger size hose ... last time I saw a few factory advertising here selling air tank and air brush, but search no result now, either deleted or moved . . .
