Hi All,

My husband and I plan to delivery our baby in Johor Bahru as we are staying in Johor but work in Singapore. Being a Singapore PR, we were thinking of choosing Regency Medical Centre, as we can utilised our Medisave.

Therefore, can anymore recommend good and experience gynae in Johor for us who can deliver our baby in the Regency Medical Centre?

By the way, any comments about this Regency Medical Centre? Is it good, professional and tentative? Any price indication?

Regency the one in Seri Alam? You can try Dr. Tohka. People are queuing up to see him in Regency.

u can go to elizabeth women's clinic at tmn sutera utama. used to work in national hospital of s'pore and currently tied up with regency.
she will assist u on the application of medisave. u may refer to her blog and call for further assistance. she open on weekend....

I need to know the price in regency too since my house is nearby. I heard Doctor Tohar is d best but a bit hesitate to go to regency coz afraid it would be pricey as i heard that normal delivery also can reach up to 5000. Is it true?

I know this is a bit late. However, if you ever would like to deliver another baby, I highly recommend another very experienced and dedicated gynae in town, Dr Tan Jui Seng who has been in the O&G profession for over 20 years.

His clinic is situated at 50, Jalan Harimau Tarum, Taman Century Garden [Clinic Tan England] . Tel: 07-2762925. It is opposite Plaza Pelangi. If I am not wrong, he does visiting consultation and deliveries in various hospitals in Johor too. His consultation and delivery fees are reasonable too.


It is possible that he might be able to deliver the baby in Regency. Anyways, no harm asking right?

Hi All,
There is another new female specialist in regency specialist other than doctor Tokar i.e Dr Sharifah Halimah. My sister delivered with her recently and very happy because she is very friendly and very caring. She is far cheaper than Dr Tokar. Previously she was from KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital..Ii highly recommend her..she speaks some mandarin too!
