Yup, confirming it at 1pm this Sunday, please que b4 the meeting time and join Eternal Battlegrounds.

I'm hopping to achieve the Commander tome by this weekend but currently lacking around 76 gold at the momment.

Regardless the objective for this weekend is to conquer the entire EB map and hold it for as long as possible.

I would like to see us try and catch-up to Tarnish Coast, regardless how hopeless everything is.

Please notify each other ingame and make sure on the day itself to organize yourselves into groups/parties.

For now CCTV can focus on two types of groups.


Scouts and Raiders



I read the quick guide you posted on the WvW thread Deimos and I agree with what the person mentioned.

However I feel with smaller teams such af a 5 man raid, theres more damage they can actually do.


Scouts
Role:

Observation and Ambush

Basicly the eyes and ears of the commander, you guys basicly are critical for ambushin reinforcements and also checking the damaged done from Trebs vs walls.

Apart from that it's probably one of the more important roles to play in WvW.

The Scouts are mainly made up of mobility units. Anything from Elementalist, Mesmers, Rangers and Thieves.

Raiders
Role:

As the name implies, your task is to raid everything that isn't nailed down by the enemy.

The raider group can consist of 5-10 people. Thier job is to cut off supplies, raid towers, raid nuetrals (the hyleks/dredge in EB, the Quogs in Borderlands), capture sentires/nodes and finally distract and disarray.

The raiding group in my opinion needs to be a balanced party of warriors, guadians, mesmers and rangers. I believe this is needed since you would need mobility and power.


These are just suggestions, however feel free to mix it up abit.

aaah but sunday we might not be fighting tarnished coast since saturday 8am wvw resets liao.

Yeah, if we do not end up fighting TC. It shouldn't be an issue since the goal is to conquer the entire map.

If people wish to still try and beat the TCs we can try to do something on Saturday evening from 9.00pm onwards.

Please reconfirm with me via the ingame mail system as I don't check this forum daily.

Regardless of the saturday fight, The 1pm event will still happen as we should try our hardest in capturing the map so we have some kind of point advantage.


Also lyn has setup thier own mumble channel. I'll send you the details deimos however your guild is free to join it if they want to. I still preffer typing over voice chat since its much more precise and doesn't allow for 2 much miscommunication.

aaaa i think both got its uses.
voice chat probably useful for 5 - 10+ raid groups when typing is just not fast enough.

typing ok for getting messages across the map.
