Guild Bounty

Your guild is tasked with tracking down and capturing various targets for the Orders. These people are wanted for a variety of reasons. The clues provided by the “Guild Mission” tab are incredibly cryptic, with the entire game world (with the exception of Orr) a potential location. The key is to quickly discover the location, though this in many respects is like a needle in a haystack, before intercepting and killing the individuals. With a timer of 15 minutes to find two bounties in the first tier, it’s a tough call. What will be key here is map and game knowledge but also communities working together to quickly find and publicise where NPCs are located.

Where many people might think “Oh well eventually, it will be on Wiki anyway” this is inevitably true, but ArenaNet have implemented such a huge navigation path to the NPC’s that you could spend 15 minutes searching an entire zone, even when you know they are there. In addition, the Bounty you get every time you activate the mission is random, adding another spanner in the work..

The break down of Tier difficulty is as follows:

Tier 1 – 2 enemies within 15 minutes
Tier 2 – 4 enemies within 15 minutes
Tier 3 – 7 enemies within 15 minutes

Guild Bounty is prolly the most interesting and fun one....but to find it is tedious, and you will need alot ppl for coverage

Guild Challenge seems nice, it would be my 2nd choice since it has the highest merit reward and i hate puzzle, but i suggest asking your core/regular members first what they want, in the end, they are the ones that are gonna do it with you, best to ask what they want/like to try 1st

I was just saying this to our founder Deimos that the Guild based zerg in PVE missions are going to be the final nail in the WvWvW coffin.. we are all going to be zerging in PVE..

not rly, EB chest is still the EASIEST loot comparatively

Yeah.. doing that is not really what I call participating in WvWvW. You are just there to loot the chest. I'm talking about the dwindling numbers of people in WvWvW. SOS is already a very PVE type server (people are still gathering at dragons and even the lesser events like maw) and that is already not helping WvWvW.

All these patches are actually moving people out of WvWvW. That is the point I'm trying to get across. There is a possibility now that we see leaders in the guild organising zerg runs in PVE for guild rewards more than WvWvW runs. We have not tested this new guild event yet but it definitely does not help the numbers in WvWvW.

so it comes to point where you ask yourself, do you play the game for enjoyment? or you want to "work" yourself to do wvw?

ever since i hear the complaints of "we rarely do wvw these days" i tried organizing wvw runs, even small ones, bought the dumb commander tome to ease communication, but what do i get in reply these days?

i dont need to force CCTV to go with a flow, no matter how dire shit is at our border or EB, players play this game to enjoy themselves

thats why these day i dont even bother bout wvw guilds frm leaving SoS for a more competitive server, coz they are transferring to a server more focused on their "needs".

dont forget why we all play this game for

as for those in SoS still complaning shits bout WvW? ask yourself, how much WvW do you even really do ever since we are t5? how much time or enjoyment do you even spend on WvW? ill leave it at that.
