Recently,is a dog came near my housing area recently, i believe it's someone's as he has a collar...the dog is skinny & has skin disease..i hav been feeding & bathing him for the past few days...i wanted to adopt him, but i already hav 2 dogs & limited space...i think he needs care & medical attention..and he is now wondering around my area...here are some pics...pls advice

crazymouse do you save abandoned dogs? I found a labrador 2 weeks ago...she was knocked down by a car and I brought it to the vet. Now tat she's able to walk properly i brought her back to the accident spot but unfortunately she's as lost as I am.

She's soo blady obedient and I hope someone would adopt her. I can't adopt her as I don't have the time to give her the proper care. Anybody?

Yes, if this dog is sent to SPCA if most probably will be put to sleep. I think its not eeasy to find a home for a sick dog either

Sorry so late reply... my Net had problems last night.

My thoughts here:

Put to SPCA or PAWS, sure put to sleep. This poor fella can be saved. I see he could be suffering from mange or fungus since he seems very red from scratching. I gotta take these pics and discuss with my friends tomorrow. He needs vet treatment. Has the dog been to the vet? Which area are you staying?

How does the dog react when you approach it? This dog needs medical attention and he would need about 3 months to recover his fur and skin. Need foster home then.. will look for one. I will keep you guys updated.

1st of all, thanks for ur help...i hav been applying sulfodine (cant remember the name, it's yellow liquid for the skin, which i bought from the pet shop) for the past few days...dun c much improvement...havnt brought him to the vet..i have tried bathing him with dettol too..

this dog is very friendly, playful..and loyal too...im staying at Happy Gdn, near Seri Petaling...pls hurry, cos it has been raining heavily lately & hope the DBKL wont come any time soon..
