I got the DVD-AVN from Toyota too. The garmin platform isn't the latest though

I updated the map, and added new POIs. But no proximity warning .... New car should have the latest available systems what...??

Anyone know how or where to hack this DVD-avn thing? Or how to install a different garmin software.

The car itself is really worth the money spent imo, but the DVD-avn garmin thing is annoying, especially if you have used a later version of garmin before.

Also tried putting a different sd duplicated from the original sd card, but the DVD-avn won't read the file. Just for your info.

Youre looking for something at the wrong place.

Prius C is not where you would look for power, even though it is actually adequately powered for urban/highway driving. The car is more about fuel efficiency.

Vios is just a bit more powerful than Prius C. If youre willing to trade just a bit more power with a better FC than vios is for you. Or maybe you should go for Fiesta.
