Yes. Honda hybrids can drive the car without battery, purely on fuel. While our Prius hybrid required battery power to start the car, and unable to drive without battery pack. Thats the pro of Honda, yet also a con, by only driving a 1300cc car without IMA (which is ridiculous)

By the way, my SA told be we can jump start our car without open up the battery pack at the rear seats. Pop the hood, and attached the jump start cable somewhere in there will do. He ask me go search in youtube (which i havent search yet)

I prefer Toyota Hybrid because:
1. Mature hybrid technology
2. Full hybrid
3. Features, spec, n safety
4. Brand

Therefore Honda Hybrids go 18km/l in average while Prius C go 22km/l in average. 4km difference per liter means PC goes extra 120~160km per tank. Considering we pump petrol every week, there is at least 6240km extra a year.

Battery technology is pretty mature now, say an example, how often you have problem with your phone battery? Your battery may drain fast due to heavy consumption but have you ever wake up and found out your battery suddenly die?

I would worry more on camber angle, alignment, suspension, radiator, air cond compressor rather than battery.

My problem is: When Toyota release Li-ion battery pack for PC, it is very hard not to buy it. 

One of my fren driving Insight. He personally feel not comfortable with the auto stop feature of his car. And no AC during 5pm to 7pm traffic....

18km/l is average, go Insight/Jazz hybrid forum and check them out. They get very happy while reaching 20km/l.

My average with PC is 22km/l. I reach 26km/l with more patient driving. Engah has 27km/l in average in his 10000km mileage. Solute!

There is a way to get back AC while the car stall, by keeping the petrol engine running and burn more fuel.

My trip going to office this morning, from Selayang to Shah Alam. Slow traffic along Jalan Kuching,  smooth along NKVE, mild after highway. Smooth pedaling. 29km/L

Full loaded YES. Heavy size driver NO. Dun worry much lo, just enjoy the ride will do
