i'm planned to put GPS tracker.. this device sell by my friend.. this device can be put under your dashboard without other knowing.. have own battery like nokia phone battery.. and can be charge when car is moving..

must have sim card.. can be prepaid or postpaid.. and from your phone send code to the device.. device will give us accurate coordinate.. and can view the coordinate with google maps..

also can set a speed limit to this device .. let say speed limit 90kmj.. when this car speed above 90kmj.. the gps tracker will send car location to our henpon every 10 sec...

i find this gps tracker quite good and very small size more less like nokia 3310...

my problem.. is the time to put it... and how to dissemble the dashboard...

1st time know ppl attempt to steal PC (with keyless entry) wonder how will there start the engine with all electronic stuff. Wonder the big Bro Prius have any stolen case. We must take extra care then, I think one of best security is those engine auto cut off if not code enter, coz ppl may rob & take car key from you and drive away. But without the code they can't run far, then is time for you to escape & report police.

My MG currently pakai IES...but GSM/SMS type la... Like i mention earlier...put simcard on d device n installed it under driver' cabin... We can received notification thru sms and we can stop the engine by sending sms or call... We also can call to the car but only one way...cant communicate...but we can hear sound from the car...
We can stop the car dont know exactly where location...can ask operator to track the simcard...
We also can activate to auto arm or auto lock the car when we forgot...
Better check...i dont think ade GPS yg self monitoring... Cause it will need a centre to give satellite service...

About the guy clipping and damaging your PC mirror doing a U-turn....

What do you do if this happens? What did you do? Report it to police? Did the guy pay you?
Crazy drivers.....hate it when they double park on tight road like in Bangsar village and you clip their mirror and your mirror bends back. Luckily no damage to mine so far.

Remote for the DVD AVN ada bro, siap dengan cable. The hole you are referring to Ada bawah radio and comes with a cover. Use for charging only not for cigarette lighting. The PC ask smokers to smoke out the car or stop smoking

Just shift to P and relax, don't need to press the pedal brake. If you shift to N, the engine won't charge the hybrid battery

imran6789...dah check tramingo website...it is more to gps tracker kan...just add to current alarm system... But dont know installation need wire cutting or not...
But for IES...it is alarm system...and work syncronize with current alarm...need wire cutting... Bg yg risau warranty..not applicable la...

But important thing..all device ni very dependent on gsm signal...if we park somewhere no phone signal...u wouldnt get notify... But u will know there is no phone signal when car lock beeping more than normal...and that u better find new parking area...haha

Any system that can detect door opening or engine running, just need to tap the wires. If you need to shut down the engine will need wire cutting. Well bro, just choose where you park and you'll know it's safe.

Sure bro but sorry if i'm wrong. If i'm not mistaken B is engine braking when you go downhill, for example Genting road. If the PC is fully loaded, engine braking is good to ease the brakes. You don't want to over heat the brake while going downhill. Have experience it once and damn no brakes (my old car)

sorry to hear that bro.. i dont think they want to hiject ur car if so they will come with tow truck together .. i think they just want to break in and see anything valuable can steal .. bcos i vant think of any reason they wanted to steal prius or prius c if i'm the stealer i rather steal camry even vios for better value on the black market part ..even at toyota SC what i heard is the whole malaysia only 2 technician qualify and dare to touch the battery pack others are not allow .. bcos of the high voltage ..

i afraid that some GPS traker need wire cutting to enable remote engine stop or something else.. and this could void the warranty..

and i think that.. it very dangerous to cut off engine remotely by GPS system during the car is moving coz the car will lost power.. no power steering, less brake and our car might be involve in accident..
