I think they got excited when saw us (PC) on the road and want to catch up to have a good look at it. Same time want to compare their car with our PC power. Those who can't over take me must be really piss off. By using the ScanGauge ii display to assist and understanding the way I driving is real fun. As long as I dun hit over 3000 RPM should be good on my FC(I think it should be same like other cars and same time comparing with our ECO Display)...anyway I am still testing it. If I found anything to improve the FC, I'll share it here with you.  icon_rolleyes.gif

Watching the three RPM changing is fun (engine, MG1 & MG2). tongue.gif  Actually I got another gadget...the OBD ii bluetooth & USB. Haven't try those yet. The Android apps gauge look pretty cool too. But I really dun wan to use my SGS2 while driving. Maybe get a cheap china made tab...hahaha....they show nice gauges on screen.....for now ScanGauge ii is good to go.  thumbup.gif

More driving today...will continue my hunting(wishing list) today at Pasar RD, Puchong & Serdang. I saw the Big Brother shop at opposite IOI mall.  Anyone try this shop for our PC accessories there?? It look huge comparing to other accessories shops. But who know, they might have nothing for our PC....

OK taking off now....Breakfast first most important meal of the day!!!! biggrin.gif

Guys , plan to get a PC , what is the current best offer for Pc year end car ? My Sa offer 7k . For those who own PC , do you having difficulty to overtake Car on highway ? How's the power for range from 80 -120km ? Does it take long time to climb to reach that speed ? Understand it is hybrid , just hope it wont be worst than my current drive myvi 1.3 auto. I've test drive the PC , but only in those residential road. NO chance test it on highway . Appreciate for you guys feedback.

Highway no worry I try once driving at speed 140 than pickup bcos got 1 Camry 2.2 at my back no problem cos the Camry need few seconds to reach my speed at 170

but limitation is when battery is low power is bad. And after 140kmph.. its getting hard to climb up. As posted max 189kmph recorded. I never tried before. Max i did is 150kmph and feel stable but wind noise make me back out as its hard to climb already and seem wobbly a bit. Climbing to 120kmph is an ease with your battery fully charge.

On highway it will always on full charge ( at least 6 bar ) unless got traffic jam or driving below 60 . From priuschat n SC advisor not recommend to always drive in ev ( below 60) good for FC but bad for battery bcos keep discharging n charging . Bcos on hybrid car the battery n motor is to assist not moving the car unless it is ev car on Chevy volt

I think that really is arguable. Certainly, Hybrid battery will keep discharge & recharge all the while we driving it, thus most of the time we can't fully control what mode we are using.

But I assure, if we always attempt to use the battery till the last bar, it may shorten the lifespan of Hybrid battery.

Anyway, most of time is inevitable & we can't control the battery usage. As Toyota assure the battery may last at least 8-10 years, so just drive it normal & let the system to maintain the Hybrid battery. Forget about the battery issue tongue.gif

agreed with u .. the point is just use it like normal car and we still can get better FC than others petrol and hybrid car in malaysia ..
as on priuschat trying to use the car on EV to move the car is not good for the battery and inverter .. as we can notice once the system sense we are on cruise mode the electric motor instantly shutoff and go to recharge battery ..

Just did 167km/h at highway today. Car is stable but still, SPEEDING IS DANGEROUS. And i still managed to get 19km/l.

I think it is kind of defeat the purpose paying extra RM20k but not maximize the use of battery, right?  biggrin.gif

I think within 5 years, Li-Ion battery for PC will be out and then we will be lining up to change our battery.

I think for cornering, PC is not good enough compared to Ford Fiesta and Preve.

Of course it is better than Myvi/Saga but we should compare apple to apple. Maybe someone could comment on the cornering of Jazz hybrid/Insight vs PC?

I do hope can get TRD suspension set here in Malaysia. UMW Toyota sells PC TRD without TRD suspension set (only bodykits) and cost extra RM6k+. What a nonsense!

for the cornering issue some owner solve it with adding bar on the bottom chassis which on yaris and yaris hybrid have .. our PC have the place or nut hole for the bar BUT for unknow reason toyota didnt add on to us .. but they did add it for yaris hybrid which share same chassis ..

Impress of your FC, most I can achieve per tank is 23-24km/L

But need a lot of patient to achieve it, average speed must be 60-70km/h. When I drive long distance at 100-110km/h FC will fall till 20-21km/L.
*
Agreed need a lot of patient me myself no patient drive below 80 make me sleepy , traffic jam can also be sleepy . That why working prefer by motorbike as my road no need go thru highway but traffic damn jam at klang bridge
