Same here too. After 2nd service fc drop. Did the technician reset ur ECU ?

Best wait till 5k setting and then have a look at it.

And maybe can bring to different service centre,

Segambut and Kepong is not bad as i normally service there and no complaint.

thanks again. before they did adjustment, it is 4-5 clicks. mine 1 click seems abit over.....my pc acceleration is ok, but just the respond is slow. i remember i drove once in the highway, i press the pedal for about 1-2 second then my car pickup faster. may be this is how the pc protect overwhelming and damage the systems.

when i drive 90, i can still get 3xkm/l indicator, but not always, i think it have to wait for the gear to be in the high gear then only the motor sufficient power. just like a manual car, when we drive 5th gear, less pedal we need to press.

talk about gear, i heard from my friend, driving on down hill should never put yr gear into n, i till damage yr gearbox badly.

Don't. Put in D at least you have engine braking. As if you use N downhill. Imagine when you need emergency breaking. It will be crutial there. And not sure whether ABS, Traction control and Brake assist will have problem with it.

Enjoy the week ahead guys and girls ^^

October is coming to the end. The FC rate for my PC looks consistent over the past 4 months, except August (fasting month). On the top is the FC rate for today, from office to home.

To engah,

Noted. Same here too. I drive myself in morning as well. Normally focus more on evading big lorry and bus as they are either too fast or slow which make my FC up and down.

Man!!! all of those are selling at alibaba website for only USD 1~2 per unit. Only take 20 secs to complete, so fast to do it when you sent your car for washing and servicing. Later get someone to tail you back where you stay and find a best time to take your car without breaking anything. People are getting smarter nowadays.

So we have to be smarter then them. Well, since I am in the electronic field. Now have to burn some mid night oil to make some thing out before I get my PC. Have to design some new electronic gadget which is not selling out there in the market. Hope this wouldn't void the Toyota warranty... unsure.gif
*
Nice bro. Do let update us with ur update ya. We also want to see.

Then i think should be ok.. As i never pass key to other ppl and key always in pocket. Just worry they come near me and steal the code wirelessly

to wankf,

THEFT RATES FOR PASSENGER MOTOR VEHICLES STOLEN IN CALENDAR YEAR 2010 for Prius is 78 units only in Malaysia. Comparing with CAMRY in same year is 691 units, its just like chicken feet.

Wow.. 78. is alot leh... i think camry sold more than prius by alot of tenfold.

But i read article. The car is being theft by either tow or owner left key in car.

The tire got a hole at the side, the wire inside is torn out during my crawl to nearest rest station. Tire totally unusable. Need to go SC Cheras tomorrow morning and get a new spare tire. Bridgetone Potenza 185/60/R15 is hard to find, all the tire shop at my place said need to order and wait. Any idea how much one would cost?  hmm.gif

Also I am wondering does the technician there capable to spot any damage on suspension, drive shaft etc, since PC is a new model?

Added on November 5, 2012, 12:26 amDo you think the PC TRD got their TRD suspension set? If it is, then extra RM6990 could be worth buying?
*
Oh no aragongon, Sorry to hear that. Hope the change of tyre is easy for you. Buy a new spare tyre d ?

Wow.. after some busy 1 week plus.. when back PC discount to 7k.. looks like i need to depreciate my PC by 10k d now TT

Just go to ebay or lelong and search for OBD bluetooth...

BTW, I checked on Tribe Toyota forum. Apparently our Garmin is an old verison which does not have proximity alert for POI...

Thats why i upgrade with Malsing map foc plus put in more POI point ^^ . But problem is sometimes it may be buggy or the Toyota DVD AVN sucks at giving direction as always loss signal. Maybe due to 3m tinting ^^
