Dear Forummer,
Just want to ask. I bought my xbox 360 last year on November. Suddenly my unit failed to operate. I send back to the shop that i bought before. He said, Motherboard is failed. No warranty for hardware. Is it true for all shop like that?

They said . warranty only for technical job only. If they mention before about the no warranty for motherboard, I bet nobody want to buy a mod one. This shop quite reputable in lowyat forum.

QUOTE(foohoa @ Sep 13 2012, 02:30 PM) everybody is misleading the word of "WARRANTY" warranty is help you to repair and FOC only motherboard can't be repair There is an official manufacturer's warranty - that one more or less covers everything. Malaysia does not have an official MS service center and therefore reputable shops will help you to service your xbox by sending it to Singapore to be repaired. Once you choose to mod the console, you're no longer covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Your "reputable" shop is therefore providing you with a "shop" warranty, whatever that's worth.
