You seem to not pay attention on what they meant. Every iPhone release has been so far done in stages in certain group of countries.
*
I just watch the keynote Tim say this gonna be the fastest roll out ever. 2nd phase gonna start 7 days later which include 20more countries I think... Just keep finger cross...

you can use 3G
*
Im more worried if let say iPhone 5 launch this year then I sign the 3G contract, once LTE launch what am I gonna do? But IMO I think for mobile so fast connection means nothing since I'm more on messaging and some fb but problem is currently digi network keep giving trouble. If they can gimme a smooth line I don't think I need the LTE at least at this moment unless the price they offer is as low as 3G .

What I think the local telco will do is launch it with LTE plan but charges LTE later when it is available

Developer got the chance to download iOS 6 earlier than us by a lot that's why they can JB it. GM version is coming out on 19th. Anyway it just tethered JB...

When Samsung change their Cable 18times within 10 years nobody make a sh*t noise. Apple change once in 10years ppl say they are mining enduser money. What's wrong with the world or apple haters out there..

Sorry to disappoint u, i'm an iPhone 4S user... picking up my brand new iPhone 5 WITH nano SIM and 4G LTE networks to use on first day.  tongue.gif
My point is... for some of u... an un-usable iPhone 5 is better than no iPhone 5. I see some of u even willing to spend extra money to travel overseas or order overseas when u know u can't use it in your country yet. Why not wait? Is there value in staring at a SIM-less iPhone?  I fail to see your logic. It's like buying a BMW with no key (nano SIM) and no highway (LTE), and then telling your neighbour how u are one of the first to own the car, but need to park it in driveway for two more months.
*
Well I can say everyone have their own preferences. After all is their time and money. We won't ubderstand just like we don't understand why ppl can go there queue almost 1 week earlier. It's fanboyism. I'm a fanboy too but not till that extent.... For those who have bought don't forgot to share ur opinion here...

I think telco will do something here, since they invested so much money on LTE. Not sure bout LTE thingy I'm just guessing... tongue.gif

imho, this weekend will be crucial
as a lot of people will get to use the phone and write review
if 9 out of 10 say it is a good phone to own then it will be big big hit
if only 3 out of 10 feel satisfy with the phone
then it would be easy to get the phone already

the current trend is ..people anticipate it to be a good phone.
but you dunno how good it is until you have a phone to play with.

for me, i think this phone will just hot for 2 weeks then it will become cool as this is not something have WOW factor there , just another 4S phone.
*
Even bad review u still see ppl go buy it. Im one of them.... tongue.gif This is iPhone....hehe!!

Don't know where they got the result, when I click by myself, I saw the different result. For Nexus 7 with Jelly Bean still can't beat SGS III with Ice Cream Sandwich: http://browser.primatelabs.com/android-benchmarks

This one for SGS III with dual core running Jelly Bean, score 1,799: http://browser.primatelabs.com/geekbench2/1044030
*
Seriously i never ever go and learn how to read those benchmark result. For me user experience is more important. Who cares single core, dual core, quad core or 4 core as long as it provides a smooth interface then its fine...

so i dare say that regardless of how the reviews turn out to be, if consumers have a decent first impression of the phone, and is satisfied with the function, they wud purchase the iP5.
*
It's probably because the main reason ppl choose iPhone is bcos of iOS and AppStore. But review still review. Sure have good and bad. U can expect a godlike product...

Most Apple fans don't know a shit about processor architecture. Stop wasting your time lecturing them. Apple themselves hide these from them as to not confuse them.

You should really buy all of them and use it over extended period to evaluate on this.

I don't mean to undermine iPhone as I love them as well. Just take an example. Viewing your photo collection and suddenly feel like sharing it, just share and you have tonnes on option ranging from Bluetooth to Fb to Whatsapp. Can iPhone do that?

It really depends on how and what you are using them for. You can't really just based them on smooth ui transition.
*
To whatsapp and fb why cannot? It just require more steps only but still possible. Sharing photo can use apps such as bump or can send via whatsapp. Smooth UI don't have means don't have. Lag means lag no way u can turn it over. Apps availability lesser means lesser u cry also developer won't give it to u. Lots of thing lots of thing still able to do it, it just require some extra steps...

Did I say can't? I said do it from Photo aka Gallery in Android. Can? Really can? Then what? JB? JB breaks the wall Apple build which means you don't get what you want. What best user experience are we talking about here?

Look... I'm not here to destroy iOS nor will I strongly defend Android. But if forumers want to share their opinions, give a real world example or your own experience of things you enjoy in iOS or Android to support it. I'm well aware of things I could miss out on both platform.
*
Then did I say can? I just say it's possible but with extra steps not from photo directly.
Launch fb apps> upload photo > done. Do I need to write down all the steps one by one? What I'm trying to say is what u mention we still can do but in different way and maybe one or two extra steps.
If having extra more apps, Smooth OS and user friendly is not consider a things we enjoy in our platform then pls elaborate what consider is. iOS most of the time rely on apps to get extra features not to mention cydia tweaks...

Btw iOS u can post fb directly from
Notification centre not sure can post photo or not but I believe it can.

And if ppl really dying wanna have that you can check out This which I think lots of ppl won't bother since having one extra or lesser steps won't cause us big trouble.Bcos it break the wall of iOS so not consider a features? Why? Cydia is not consider illegal u know?

Dont expect too much from Msian LTE which is based on 2600 Mhz while the iphone 5 works only on 1800 Mhz. So what does this means - you won't get any 4G lah !! Stick to 3g and some guy has quoted 3.5 G maybe ??
Spore at least slight better as 2 telcos has both 1800 n 2600 Mhz spectrum but than limited to certain areas only

Summarised CNet review of spore situation
http://asia.cnet.com/blogs/iphone-5-may-no...re-62218716.htm

The iPhone 5 may not support Singapore's new 4G networks perfectly, while handsets from competitors Samsung and HTC will, based partly on a report from Digital Life, Singapore's weekly tech digest.

4G LTE sounds great but we have a big problem of fragmentation. There's no standard frequency band for LTE network--they differ from one country to another. Here's a list of the various networks around the world. You can also check CNET's LTE FAQ.

Reportedly, the iPhone 5 will support only the 1,800MHz band. Since SingTel and M1 are using both 1,800MHz and 2,600MHz bands to provide coverage in Singapore, the iPhone may not get the LTE signal in areas where the 2,600MHz band is being used. Competing handsets like the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S III LTE and HTC One XL will support both frequency bands.

Consider all this before buying an LTE phone. I'm looking forward to LTE for it signals a relief from the terrible congestion we have for 3G data today. So I'd be shattered if my handset didn't have full 4G coverage even after paying about a thousand bucks for it.
*
Looking at ur review sounds like no hope anymore... Haih. Any idea telco will do something to make it compatible to iPhone LTE. Although for me LTE does not mean big difference for me but no harm
Having extra features. Seriously for mobile I'm using for messaging and reading fb 3G is sufficient but problem is 3G also sucks...

Another benchmark to test how fast iPhone 5 is compare to other phone. I've read some review saying that the battery can easily last 1 day without charging. Temptingggggg
