I think it's wiser to sit still and wait for reviews. Early batches of Apple products are known to have issues, like the uneven yellow tint on the iPad 3. Spending more to be a white mouse doesn't seem to be a good idea.

The black one looks really good, but I'm not sure if I'm willing to bear with the scuffs, especially those that are already present out of box. The white one looks too "bling bling" for a guy. What color are you guys getting?

The good thing about black is that the letterboxing would look far more natural than on a white. Hmm

AlexGTX says there's no cracked screens yet, just to show him there is. Sucks to be that guy though, broke his phone in like just one day.

Sales will hardly be affected, and I suppose stock will deplete even faster with these issues. People are opening a few boxes each just to get one with minimal defect. I wonder if Apple resellers in Malaysia will carry the iPhone 5? If not, the only way to get one without contract is through Apple's online store, meaning it's tedious to exchange if we get the lemon?
