First World Hotel (Genting Highlands, Malaysia) (Yahoo News)

No stranger to the locals, Genting Highlands is said to be one of the most haunted places in Malaysia. Also home to the famous casino resort, there has been numerous gambling-related suicides over the years. First World Hotel is infamous for its paranormal activities - guests who have stayed there would hear wailing spirits in the middle of the night, some have even seen ghostly apparitions jumping over the cliff only to vanish into thin air - the most famous account is a headless woman roaming around the corridor, apparently looking for her missing head.


Anybody ever experienced any ghosts in First World Hotel in Genting? Or any real ghostly experiences? Please do tell.

until level 4 or 5 ...lazy to talk ..mainly is i dream tiok got "someone" want to pull my sister from windows ..then i keep wake up >>still in dream >> wake up again >> until dunno when ..finally woke up ..actually just slept 20min ..but in dream around few hours already

there is a lot of thing happen in that dream la ..like saw "my sister" ..feeling tell me is her ..but actually not her

Yes it's true.

Never believe in ghosts. Been there many times and even stayed up late. Friends claimed to encounter evil spirits but I slept all the way.

Got hantu tetek every friday night.

If it is a story, it is not real.

Something similar happened to my sister's boyfriend. He kept dreaming that he falling down a dark pit. And all the while, he couldn't wake up, until finally. Apparently, Inception's "kick" system doesn't work in Genting.

Then he cannot tahan he shout, "Mana dia? Keluar sekarang!!".
But the "thing" keep banging his hotel room there.

He gave up and ask the Genting staff to change room for him.

i still remember ..i know it's dream ..i keep cubit myself to wake up =_= ...well ..u know what? really no pain 1 ..trollolol

i was a 2" then. dont remember which hotel

Din experience it directly...but last time a group of us went there for a stay (remember last time got promo...dunno RM1/nite when it just opened not long). Things was normal...party till late...smoked up....then all knocked out...
Next day 1 guy fren told us he got weird dream that we all met accident going down hill and all dieded except him. Then another fren said that he also had a dream that he killed all of us and only he is alive....dunno means what...but all got down safely and nothing happened to us...must be those cheap stuff we were smokin....

Why evil spirits so NBTD haunting those who doesnt believe in them? Hell God punya directive or got incentive to do so (less punishment/faster reincarnation ) ? These "things" should keep haunting and kacau those believers coz most syiok are seeing believers go freak out over tiny little ghostly behaviour ... like blow wind in their ears or knock few times on the door. No need show their ghoulish face right in front of them .

This is meh true storeh.

I think about 5 - 6 years back wented to Genting at night. I parked at 1 or 2 levels above where all the taxi park at the basement area. When I was about to leave I start the engine to warm up.

The spot where I parked is facing those apartments. You get to see very clearly which unit lights are on and off. Then I saw one room the lights red in colour. Very weird so I just have a look, then I move my view to the left saw someone sitting near the window there staring at me. Spooky like fark. I quickly 'siam' to avoid eye contact. Now typing this also makes meh bulu naik.

I dare not reconfirm and dare not look again. Quickly go down and head back home. I am sure something is not right. Where can you find red kaler lights you tell me. I didn't stare at the figure more than 2 secs.

It could be some prank by some idiots. Maybe...

I looked down I think about 5 - 6 floors. The distance between the basement parking and apartment about 10 feet.

true story guys swear on the name of my ancestors. I masa form 5 graduate trip we went Ria apartment stay. so steady la we went to genting mamak walk all the way there if you guys know where. then all the way back to Ria. that time should be around 2 or 3 oclock morning. in the lift we chat like biasa la, our room around 8 or 9 floor. so after tekan lift like normal the lift went up the lift stopped at 4th floor. sumpah no one tekan lift just few of us. one of us just went out have a look, nobody there playing prank or what. after like 1 minute the door auto close then we just stand aside stick to sides of the lift make way for our special guests. everybody just stfu until enter room. really spooky.

next trip there

i used to drive going there at night around 10-11pm, it's just i prefer night driving because of less traffic and it's colder at night.

lucky havent seen anything.

But i used to see cute orang asli by the roadside at evening tho, looked like mixed with chinese or mat saleh.

My buddy used to say the mat saleh hiking over there felt horny and piap2 the orang asli. u never know lol

awhshit first world hotel.. my first experienced scary moment there. Im not going to talk about it ._. plus, i saw it with my own eye, for 4 times.

i only can say i DID saw something moving WITHOUT head. and walking. the feet is moving but it look like shes floating. not white shirt but Red dress.

Mine not in Genting, but in PD

When I was sleeping, there was the sound of running water from the bathroom. That time T28 era, 2" days, 13-14yo

used the green illumination to check the room

the room had 2 double beds, I was sleeping with my dad and my sis with my mom.

my dad was snoring next to me since he fell asleep. Both my mom and sis was sleeping soundly as well then then this is the moment i got a chill down my spine. If my whole family was asleep, how the heck there there will be running water. I am very sure that no one use the toilet since I fell asleep.

The room was dark, as usually my family had a habit to turn one light, usually the one near the door and with a chair or some furniture that makes noise when shifted at the door. The door and the bathroom door was like an L shape

It's like a 1m x 1m space, so in order to access the toilet, the chair must be moved.

I tried waking up my dad, by budging him, no avail.

Called my mom, "mummy" in a whispering tone, then I called her louder. And the water flowing sound suddenly paused. And continued in a moment.

I was so afraid, I nearly called my uncle who was sleeping at 2 floors above until my dad woke up with a cough. And I pretended to be asleep, peeking at him walking to the toilet to spit his mouthful of phlegm.

Maybe he didn't noticed the sound of flowing water. He proceeded to the toilet. Once he moved the chair away from the door, a few knocks was heard from the windows. I dare not to look at the window.

Slid my phone back in my pocket as I dare not to even reach my hand out for the bed side table to put my phone.

The next morning, my sweet cousin greeted me at the lift lobby. She took Lift A and I took Lift B. We reached at the same moment. She asked me how was my night, I replied "terrible" to my horror her face turned into a very awkward expression and continued her question "you noticed anything wrong last night?" I tried very hard not to freak out so I forced a smile and said yes.

Her condition was about the same as mine. But she had the lights on all night. As I mentioned earlier, we didn't turned on the lights as it was a single switch, if we were to turn it on, the whole room will be brightly lit, thus very hard to sleep.

For my cousin, she had an infant sibling, thus the mother had to wake up and prepare milk every 2 hours or so. To her horror, her baby sister didnt woke up the entire night. Not even a cry. If the baby had drank milk, the first thing in the morning the mother would wash the last-drank bottle. But she didn't, the bottle was clean since last night and the warm water tumbler was full. Which means the mother didn't even made milk.

My cousin also noticed the sound of flowing water. But she went and check it out, out of curiosity. But saw nothing, coincedentally the lamp was not working. So she saw nothing and went back to bed.

The adults noticed nothing, only us.

Some other sites said that the entire floor is filled with those yellow "hu" pasted on the doors.

Heard this before... Entire floor rite?

Got overnight at First World Hotel few times bfr.. not sked oso... heard the new tower cleaner so request chk in new tower instead of old tower.
Sometimes not enuf room have to go Tower 1 also ... That night around 11pm+... i bet RM700 per game in 3 Pictures at Genting Casino... lost!
Damn feel no luck so went out take fresh air...

Alot of fog as usual at night.. lepak downstair near lobby door till about 1am den go back hotel room..
Cant sleep well.. turn here and there...

4am woke up.. Suddenly feel have luck come liao... fast go wash face. Go atm withdraw 5k... enter back casino..
Play 3 pics again...Find one empty table with pretty girl banker. Really lucky .. keep winning continuously with RM25/50/100/200/500 bets till the table banker
give signal to her supervisor to monitor me.. maybe she thinks i cheat.

That time i already won about RM4k... wanted to give RM100 chips to the banker girl but she said cant accpt tips. Later bad steak happened... keep losing till
only left RM700. That time about 6am already.. decided to leave.

No experience anything unusual that day.. just lost money nia..... Zzzz

Just that. Back from 1st world plaza.

11:45pm, lift suddenly judders, wont go up, after 15 second only the door open. Right after the door open, suddenly the light switches off by itself..

12:30am. Fire alarm rang, called the office, they say just ignore it.

Rented 1 apartment on the 18th floor, 16 person in 1 apt..

There is a particular floor in ria partment is covered with all those yellow paper.

Many years ago me and my friends have nothing to do so we went exploring.

We took the lift up i cant really remember exactly because this happen many many years ago i think it was the 7th floor when the lift open we all scare to go out because it was dark no light except the light from the lift. We keep pushing each other out of the lift then we notice there like 3 to 4 units and whats weird all the doors are open. You can practically see the darkness into the unit..

Then we also notice on top of the door have this fu thingie yellow colours. My friend keep pushing each other to go out of the lift then suddenly we heard a voice everyone jumped and enter the lift back we was so afraid that the lift wouldnt close.

To our relief the life closed the next thing that gonna happen shocked us.
When its going down the lift suddenly stop at a floor that have bricks or seal off. The lift door open but all bricks. Everyone keep quiet thought are we dreaming? We quickly press close. Lucky the lift just go straight down to G and everyone was like =.="

Haha. I just kena last night. Dang the lift stop and open at 7th floor. Suddenly the lift become overloaded and cannot close the door. We try many times press the button to close the door. After a while the door tutup but sangkut. We got stuck for few minutes. Press the bell also useless.

Really exist ka? Quite weird lah suddenly the life became overloaded. Even some of us already left the lift also like that. I was the last one to leave.

Then we went to take another lift (cargo lift) at another wing. Three of the malay girls who from another group was so shocked and choose to stay at the corridor and keep saying "takut takut...taknak naik lift lagi...takut takut". We just left them there because they don't want to follow.

I find it irony because those who believe in ghosts claim to have experienced such crap, whereas non believers like me dont seem to encounter anything

Planning for a trip to Genting, and going to stay at Amber Court. Said to be one of the most haunted hotels. Anyone got stories about this hotel?

I experienced once before. That time fully was during the super peak season. Amber Court also full. Some more trying to check-in at night. Keep forcing them to give room. Finally dapat. That night I was too tired. When I was going to sleep, I keep hear eeerriie and sometimes knocking sound but nothing special about it. Maybe because of the strong wind. The next morning I found out the next unit besides our unit the door full of fu. I was so curious until I open the door a bit to check what was inside. I believe that unit was abandoned for quite long time. Full of dust and donno what papers maybe for prayers everywhere inside the unit.

At car park there we park our car besides an abandoned car. So dusty and berkulat. There are several cars also like that. I forgot how many.

Not sure whether this experience is related to ghost story or not.

Amber Court also full? I heard very few people stay there. When did you go there?
My friend got same experience with you. When he was sleeping, he heard alot of noises.

These 1st class hotels really that scary?
